  1. Don't worry Luxa, I agree with pretty much everything you say even though I still think your the next ianrobo you postal menace. :)

Your another one for MON out then?

As much as I like what he has done at Villa Park..I do think it is time for him to leave. I honestly cant see him taking us higher with his tactics and strategy.

That is not me being unappreciative on his efforts..it is just me wishing more and better for Villa..and I believe Villa can do it. I have huge doubts that MON is the man to do it.

Honest...I think MON has done a great job to get this far but his results is not a miracle.

  2. This Luxa is gonna give ianrobo a run for his money. I put good money on it.

    I wouldnt. Waste of money.

I just visit for a chat and soon off again. Cheers!

    Rumours that I like:

    Robbie Keane

    Michael Owen

    Stephen Ireland

    Shaun Wright Phillips

    Alexander Hleb

    Mathieu Flamini

    I would like to see....

    Per Mertesacker

    Hugo Rodallega

    Kevin Prince Boateng

I wouldnt mind if we had a sniff on some of the fringe players at Man City and Chelsea when they need to slim their squads to get a 25 player squad.

I wouldnt mind Villa having a go on young prospects...being a club that find gems...that produce gems...from abroad. That would excite me.

I also like to see what can happen with our own youngsters but to be fair...I´d be very surprised if we could get more than one per season to get a place in the first team squad. If that is to happen we either have low quality in our squad or lack of funds. Quality from youth is not really prepared for the big time and at the moment our youth academy overall might be a bit overrated. Although..Albrighton and Clark will be nice to see progress.

  3. Because foriegn shit costs less than british shit my friend.

Doesn't speak the language, hates the cold, endures culture shock when confronted by Chavs, pines for home, drives on the wrong side of the road and **** off at the first opportunity.

This kind of defence can only come from a fan of Martin O´Neill...everything to make MON shine like a golden statue of perfectionism. It is so annoying and sadly this kind of things is what holds the club back.

We are satisfied with a sixth place...we are satisfied with counter attack hoofing football.

  4. Because foriegn shit costs less than british shit my friend.

That is a way to put it.

They also make a buzz about the place of which championship players seldom do.

No..honest..if we are to buy shit players they can be from England. What I want is Villa to buy players from abroad that would go into our first team or at the very least..be very close to do.

There are a market outside England and Scotland that are quite active. And why cant Villa be the club to find real gems before they cost millions of £££££??

I just dont get it and MON is afraid to move for targets abroad..it is obvious after his time here now. I really think it holds us back...

What kind of striker could we get for a wage of £60.000 as Heskey is reported to have? I bet we could get some very very skilled ones...

  5. If we're definatly not going to play Sidwell, Beye, L Young, Shorey, NRC and Davies then I'd offer them to clubs for a cut price in the last week or fortnight of the window. There's no point us keeping them here if they're going to just be a waste of wages and eventually leave for free.

Absolutely. They dont bring much to the club...

  6. Have the keys to the transfer office at VP been found yet? Can't believe someone went and lost them at this time of the year.

It is quite unbelievable that it happens at least twice a year...right after the new year and then at the very beginning of the summer. People should leave alcohol alone if they cant keep track of their things!

  7. Maybe we should have a look at that Loic Remy fella that Spurs, Pool and West Ham have been after. Stoke have had a bid accepted for him (reported £12m) and he is flying out for talks. Been desribed as the key member of a new look French national team front line. May be a better option than an ageing Robbie Keane, as we already have 2 30+ strikers, value for money as he is only 23. Sure he'd rather be here than Stoke.

He is a foreigner..unproven in Scotland..meaning MON wont have a look. I dont think he even know who the lad is...too far off shore...

  8. "The Hunter" Stay in Milan

    MILAN, (GM) -

Klass Jan Huntelaar, recently preached would leave the Premier League next season. The player's agent confirmed his client was merely a rumor and will stay at AC Milan. During joining the "Rossonerri", Huntelaar has not shown good performance that he displayed when he was with Ajax.

Hence the future of Dutch youth was then dispekulasikan. League clubs from the UK has become the main hunter Huntelaar. In addition to Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, Manchester City and Manchester United (MU) lately most often associated with him. Latest reports suggest that Huntelaar has been at Manchester City to discuss the transfer.

But so far no concrete steps are done the MU and the City. "There is no offer from any club in the Premier League. I've read in many newspapers, but it is just a rumor," said Arnold Oosterveer, Huntelaar agent in the Sport. (B.98/detiksport) **

    Pretty much same same...

Huntelaar is there and about but no one has made a move.

    I wouldnt mind Huntelaar...

No chance of that happening, or any other signing for that matter, we're going to go into the new season, with the same set of players as the last. I can't see many, if any, of the fringe players moving on, and Man City are likely to leave it as late as possible with Milner, leaving us little or no time to make use of any money his sale will bring in.

The only plus being that hopefully O'Neill will start to make better use of players like Marc Albrighton and Nathan Delfounso, which to be honest, i'd rather he do, than go risk wasting 10m on Aiden McGeady.

Really can't wait for the transfer window the close now.

Sorry mate, but that is somewhat hilarious..and I dont mean bad to you...I agree.

Everyone want MON to sign players...but are afraid that MON sign crap. What does that tell you?

Yes...MON havent been that successful in his transfer dealings overall and we have seen quite a lot of deadwood and utterly crap coming down to Villa Park. That is sad because the squad could be so much more solid and a finished article if MON didnt make his "quick fix" signings.

No..those "quick fix" signings arent even cheap...they are just wrong.

  10. Not a MON kind of player..why?

Because he is fat and poor.

Yeah of course...and a player that doesnt know how to hoof the ball everytime he sees a football.

We did see a lot of fat and poor abroad players in the World Cup. England was one of the worse and that is no surprise.

Our game against Benfica was yet again a proof of the technically skillful decline...even though it was a friendly game.

  11. I wouldn't describe our squad players as deadwood. They are squad players (overpaid I agree) but they are there as backup to our first team. They come in and do a job and if we replace them they will be replaced by players of similar quality because many players are not happy just to come along and warm a bench.

Unless of course MON decides that he wants to make more use of our younger players to booster the squad so then maybe the money raised will actually be spent on first teamers (players who will improve us)

The big problems I see with our squad is that if we lose two keyplayers we will struggle heavily because the quality gap between the first eleven and the rest is quite large. That is the declaration of a weak squad...and we do have a weak overpaid squad.

We also have a quite good first eleven, but we could improve on many areas still nothing happens?

Have MON paid our deadwood so much money that the only way to get rid of them is that their contracts runs out? If our squad players lift a high wage they arent interesting for their level of club and therefore we are stuck with them...

  12. MON really has spunked money up the wall.
on **** Heskey.Randy is dead right to have a sell to buy,i didnt know this..

these deadwood players are costing us a fortune and holding us back

    Absolutely correct!

    And who signed them?

For God sake. Name a club in the world that doesnt have dead wood that has some form of negative effect on the team.

Did I say that deadwood is not at any other club? I am talking about Villa and the club could do much better to change the squad. Villas biggest problems is the wage structure where we obviously are paying over the odds for quite mediocre players.
