  1. Yes please, if Young goes or even if he stays I personally think N'zogbia is a great player, those questioning his attitude seem to have overlooked the fact that he always gives it 100% on the pitch even if he is mouthy off it.

Very creative player who scores a good number of goals, take him in a heartbeat.

  2. I vote stay, I want to see what he can do once he's had a full pre season and assembles a squad he's fully happy with. We've shown flashes of brilliance at times this season and I strongly believe that we'll see much better results next season.

One thing I don't like is the over indulgence of Ashley Young (not the only guilty manager though). Get him off freekicks and corners and we could get some where.

  3. Absolute shower of .....!!! Gabby needs to go back in the middle and someone needs to be firm with young and tell the prat he's not a central attacking midfielder or watever he's pretending to be.

I was so prepared to give houllier the benefit of the doubt but tonight he showed he cant handle it, he's got no tactical nous and from the way he's handled certain team members no **** dimplomacy or common sense either.

If he does stay I hope he doesnt show his face in front of a camera untill after we go on a magical 5 match unbeaten run. Sorry for the long winded, confusing and probably grammtically incorrect rant. but im am so pissed off right now.

  4. He's our manager now and the best of a bad bunch, some people are dreaming if they think people like Hiddink, Moyes etc were coming here. As far as im concerned it's hello to a fresh start after the shambles that o'neil left us in, and i'll be giving 100% support. :flag:

O'Neill left us in very good shape, not a shambles. Houllier will have a great base to work from and we can do well under him this season.

Was talkin more about his sudden departure causing chaos more then him fudging up the club, i'll agree with you that in terms of players and infrastructure we are in pretty good shape.

  5. Hell yes, and i'd play so well that Aston Villa will buy me for a transfer fee of £1million (dnt need to be giving sha too much money).

And then i'd become captain of Aston Villa top scorer in the league, leading us to the treble of PL, CL and FA cup titles.. wooo all hail me. :flag:

  6. Good point Big John, but why does 4-5-1 mean that we automatically sit deeper and invite the opposition to attack, why cant 4-5-1 be used as a way to control the midfield while protecting the back four. let the wingers or winger do there thing and when we break players in midfield move up to support Gabby or Carew, like sidwell and NRC/Petrov.

Im probably not being totally clear here but i hope u can understand what im saying.

  7. Geez, its getting so a guy cant even put his thoughts across in this place without being abused.

I actually agree with barry boots in that I think if Mon had brought NRC on for the last 20-25minutes we could have potentially saved our selves from a nervey end to the game by shutting down chelseas midfield with the extra body in the middle.

Yes i'm HAPPY that we won, but why shouldn't we always be looking at ways to improve. :?:

  8. Don't like the new badge at ALL, wud prefer it to read "Aston Villa FC" instead of that stupid "AVFC" abbreviation. and I dont see y our kit manufacturer "nike" cant be a bit more creative with the claret and blue, home kits are always a bit boring tbh

  9. I havent seen much of albrighton, but if he really is as good as u lot think then i hope he gets more chances in the first team, maybe cup matches and a few league matches here n there, we don't want to rush and pressure him with to much expectation so soon like the Arse do with there kids. Just hope he doesnt get injured.

    :flag: < love that thing
