Good result. Not a great performance. Bailey stepped up today In my opinion. The new lad got better as the game went on. Baptism of fire for him. Looks like he could be a player for us.

It was a foul. We had a bit of luck yesterday. Nice to go into the international break with back to back wins.

I think we have too few players, with the mentality, to be the majority, we have them in their minority.

I also think aerially, we are not competent.....when you see the amount of headed goals, or headers for passages of play, from around the teams we are competing with, we are left wanting.

Our squad is short of crucial attributes, which renders us, samey....too many players, with the same shortfalls.

Our squad needs forensic analysation and rectification.....I hope we now have a manager committed to do it.

 

What ever makes you feel comfortable. Results and stats show otherwise.

Like I said before…. The squad is poor! Not premier league standard!

"Premier league pedigree'? Not sure exactly how you are quantifying this but:

Martinez, Digne, Buendia, Coutinho, Ings at the minimum are "proven" in the league in other teams than ours (And could each arguably be Burnley and Huddersfield best ever players...)

 

We will have to wait and see under the new manager. Which I hope will happen after tonight.

The keeper yes. I agree with Ings. Young is now past it. Buendia isn’t prem quality. Mings isn’t either. Very good championship players at best. Liverpool improved when they offloaded Courtinho.

I agree Gerrard isn’t up to the standard. Never wanted him to start with. In my opinion he was a down grade from Deano. I also think we have bought crap players. We haven’t spent wisely at all.

Basically this squad isn’t good enough for the premier league. I’m sure teams like Huddersfield and Burnley had high finishes once. They then slipped down the table. Any team can step it up for one season. Only a decent quality side can maintain it. Is that ok for you?
