1st game you had some help from Clichy and as for the 2nd, you were almost beat by the weakest side we've put out this season. (Think about it ..... and was Agbonlahor looking for a penalty).

As we stand fourth half way through this season we are where we are on merit
Nah. the half way point is on 28th December. Lets see where you are after Hull. As for the merit bit - to some extent, but mainly by the poor merit of Arsenal, Chelsea and United. We started the season without Fabregas and soon lost Walcott. Chelsea started without Drogba and other key players, and likewise with United and Ronaldo - but go on ignoring these facts and believe like Liverpool you're better than you really are.

The boxing day game had similarities with your game against stoke – the difference being we still gained a point. Nonetheless, dodgy penalties suck, don’t you agree.
As for the first game, you had assistence from Clichy and you didn’t find our net until the 80th minute.
The points dropped by us, United and Chelsea flatter you. And you know it. We average 3 losses per season, for various reasons we’ve been dropping more points than usual. You’re forgetting too the team you played had only 5 key players, and still you nearly lost. Imagine if Fabregas, Walcott, Clichy, Eduardo, Rosicky and Adebayor was playing (an unfit Clichy came on late). On top of these we’ve now got Song and Djourou injured …. And after tomorrow you’ll still be 5th in all probability. We might strengthen in January since Wenger has 40+ Million at his disposal and some of that might be going on Garath Barry.
Didn’t you lose to Portsmouth? I bet we don’t.
Any idea why we’ve played twice before the halfway point of the season?
There are many reasons why we’ll finish in the top 4. There are no reasons why we won’t. To go on dreaming you have a chance of CL football next season is sweet.
