Why did'nt o'neil change the side people like gabby,milner,dunne,young should have had a rest last night ready for the final, he's got to start having faith in the young players otherwise we will just tail off again, last night was a good chance to test them.

Im not saying rest all of them at the same time like moscow where he chucked all the reserves in u just rotate the squad.

We might not get a better chance of getting fourth and i don't want to see us run out of steam like last year.

I don't get me wrong iam happy we went through but from what i saw we seem to be getting tired and i have a bad feeling it might end up the same as last season running out of legs.

I feel that should be a good enough sides to beat palace at home and it gives a chance to some young players.

for a team wanting to get into the champions league i thought we were poor today, we could hardly string two passes together.

like other people have said why did the fonz not start why risk warnock, why start with one up front and why not have rest a few players and give the young kids a chance. they must play in the replay because it will be played three days before the league cup final.

when was the last time we played well, I know we did'nt deserve to lose but we were poor tonight some of the football we play in laughable ( hit and hope) man city and spurs do look better teams than us and god knows who city will buy in jan.

surely It would be much better playing a right-back at right-back and a centre-back at centre-back, leave beye and bring clarke in to the centre.

I am sorry but gardener is just not good enough, I thought he could make a solid right back but not centre midfield and lets not get started on shorey and heskey, Not one time in that match did he or anyone else look like scoring.

I am not panicing yet but why don't we try the team the played so well in the peace cup (albrighton,lichaj,bannan,lowry,clarke) can't do any worse.

No need to panic but there are a few things i don't understand

why pick beye at right back when lichaj has played so well in pre-season in all the games surely he should of had first chance, you coul also make the same case for albrighton in for milner

why pick heskey in front of carew :shock:

why pick petrov in front of reo-coker :shock:
