If we were going to look at anyone from Legia I’d be tempted to get Muci, seems a talented player and I doubt he’d be expensive. 22 as well so is young enough to improve!

The club ask that when you do pass a ticket on to a family member you contact them and let them know, they'll then issue a new ticket in the name of the person who will actually attend.

In practice, the club aren't very good at that, it's not something you can do online, you'll need to contact the club by phone and talk through it with someone, which can sometimes mean a wait during peak ticketing hours and then there have been a number of instances where the new ticket has not arrived by matchday and people have had to queue up at the ticket office before kick off to collect it  (I'd hope that would now be fixed by the e-ticket though.)

it's the kind of thing that you should be able to do by self service on the website in a few seconds with no need for a new ticket - that technology isn't there yet.

At the moment, in so far as I can see, the club very rarely checks people on tickets, if at all, and have concentrated on deciding and issuing the draconian punishment list rather than  making the process easier or enforcing it.

It'd be a miracle if you got caught swapping this ticket, a lightning strike, a lottery win, an absolute freak occurrence - but if you do, then you'll get a one month ban, as per the below which were issued this week:

Everyone I’ve spoke to has said they don’t check and it’ll be fine in the 99.999% of the time.. 

in terms of a ban that wouldn’t really affect me as I don’t manage to get to many games… 

Issue would be if they refuse my missus entry really….

This was my thinking honestly, this day and age I doubt they can go around asking people if that’s their actual name…

Fair enough, might ring just to be safe but honestly if it’s not going to be a problem might just leave it and hope she doesn’t get checked… I don’t get to go very often so I’ll take any games I can get to go to!

Random question, I bought two tickets for tomorrow for me and one for my mate, he can’t go now but my missus is going instead. (Yes i know honestly she’s a keeper!) is it going to matter that her name isn’t on the ticket?

I don’t fancy driving 3.5 hours there for her to be turned away because her names not Adam

it doesn’t say anything on the Apple wallet ticket about a name.. but on the physical ticket it does.

on paper we have 2 15+ goal a season strikers at the club. for one reason or another can’t hit a barn door with a saucepan this season.. 

Im intrigued to see what happens this summer; I just hope it doesn’t turn into Stevie G’s old boys club with Suarez in tow… no thanks 

Bentancur and kamara…. Or bissouma…. I’d go for the 2, makes more sense from a perspective of then we sort DM and CB… Bissouma is quality but I have this nagging feeling he will go Newcastle on massive wages and fee, then just be meh as he’s got the huge payday.

If we end up with another 2+ Buendia esc signings we will have a massive push for top 6... top 8 should be the priority for this season.

Nmecha only has a year left on his contract so unless he signs a new one the lose him for nothing next season. They don't have the same leverage to put in a buy back clause and doubt Nmecha would want one.

True... he’d be a good option... don’t see the harm especially if he’s under 10mil!

He’d be an interesting one.... I feel like a deal with city will include a dougie esc buy back clause which we may not be into doing now unlike when we got promoted...

In terms of a back up striker, I’d be looking at someone along the lines of Matias Arezo or Kaio Jorge. (both fm legends for my villa saves).. young strikers who have played first team but are happy to move to England and work their way into the first team, but also can play and be effective when required..

Hopefully he’s on the bench on Friday... I’d rather have a wet paper bag play than Davis...

Goncalves from sporting, £40mil

Myron Boadu from AZ £35mil

both of those would improve our attacking output.

Honestly hope we don’t have any intentions of keeping him past this season... for the 40 million fee that’s been quoted, we could get someone else like Goncalves from sporting who has impetus.. Barkley plays like he’s won a competition from the programme...
