Hi all!
Have been a long time reader here! Have been following villa pretty obsessively for about 13 years now. Fell out of love slightly during that terrible relegation season, though that did coincide with my first year of university which I think contributed. Why suffer through week after week of torture when you have new found freedom you know?One of my earliest (and best) memories is of that famous 5-1 victory over the blues. Despite being about 9 years old I watched the game in the Bear pub - with villa and blues fans separated. As you can imagine it was quite the atmosphere for a little kid but I loved it!

Cannot recommend this episode highly enough. I actually created an account on here after many years of reading to draw attention to it but Mikey beat me to it whilst I was waiting to be approved!
As villa fans I think we should be incredibly proud to have such a well-rounded individual as Tyrone Mings at our club. Despite people often criticising him as being ‘over-confident’ and ‘full of himself’ he actually comes across as well-grounded and very intelligent.
I have criticised him myself in the past for his tendency to make mistakes (though his is nowhere near as frequently as some make out) and worried that he was not learning from this. However in this podcast he discusses that, despite playing at an incredibly high level, he is not yet happy with the consistency of his performances. Having someone of his character in the dressing room can only help the performance of the team for years to come.
