  1. Brighton about to spend £22m on Webster from Bristol...… Crazy days.

Living just outside Bristol I know plenty of their fans & not one if them is concerned with loosing him for that money, they all believe he isn't worth that so take the money & get another uncovered gem in.....

Make some of our buys look like bargains.

£22m for a championship defender who had 1 good season in a team that finished outside the top 6 !!!! Crazy I tell ya, just crazy

It’s probably nobody. We’ll sign Maupay and I for one will be happy with that.

With Brighton stepping up their interest I guess we will find out soon enough. I can't believe our new team will let Maupay slip away at this stage of the window if he is indeed our Plan A or Plan B

It seemed unlikely Abraham would love from the championship to fight for a starting place at Chelsea. Lampard might have changed that. Either way it's a certainty to me Smith wanted to keep Tuanzebe and Abraham.

If you wanna believe it's some mystery striker that's fair enough.

Abraham has been at Chelsea from an early age.

He has made it clear in interviews that his ambition was to play for Chelsea in the Premier League.

If he is going to realise that dream now is the time, he will never get a better opportunity than this year, he knows that & isn't going to give up his dream now it is in reach.

We have signed Wesley as Abraham's replacement, the 'mystery' striker will play a different style in my opinion.

I agree with that except Watford - they're not at the same level as Everton, Leicester or Wolves. If our players gel we could quite feasibly finish near them or even above them.

Leicester signing Tielemans was a masterstroke of a signing, that guy is gonna be one hell of a player. And Perez adds to an already decent attack - good business overall. I think Leicester have a great chance of challenging top 6 next season even if Maguire goes.

Everton and Wolves haven't done much business yet, apart from signing their loan players, but are being linked to some decent targets.

    Therein lies the big unknown.

There is no doubting we are putting together an impressive squad.

Until the season gets going nobody will know for sure what sort of team they will make but that is where Dean & his team earn their corn & I think they will surprise a fair few this season !!

  5. This window goes from strength to strength.

We are filling gaps throughout the team with young, hungry, talented players & having the coach staff to turn this potential into the next big thing....

Can't wait to see this team hit full throttle...

Wouldn't mind another striker mind you (presuming Marvellous signs to add competition to DM)
