Any act of protest carries with it some degree of risk. It doesn't mean it's the wrong thing to do.

true enough mate...but at least if I was a cop ..i'd simply ask 'em to point to Armenia on a map..Its easy to get outraged for the sake of it.

I honestly know nowt about the situation...but I wouldn't spend a grand and a two day journey and risk it on something I knew nowt about.

Fair play to any fan who understands the situation and is doing it for something they think is is right....not many of them tho' I reckon.

It also says something about the whole fiasco when 2 "big" clubs send so many tickets back....

There's some knee jerk reactions on here 🙃

Only way to watch football mate....Live in the moment...Villa are having a great one now....enjoy it...

I decided a long time ago to treat watching Wednesday as simple theatre....Its the best way..It keeps you sane...or somewhere near it...

I get emotional first game of any season when the blue and white stripes trot out...can't join in the first songs cos ive got a lump in me throat...Dunno whether its cos ive survived another year...or those useless f.ookers have..bloody baffling emotions...after that..I just take what comes....go mental at a goal...knowing damn well theres an equaliser comin'..but not for the next 40 seconds or so...

("Actually thats not true ..its f.ookin' happened)

But you know what I mean

I didn't have tears when at full time, just sheer jubilation and joy. Just seen the sky highlights at the end of their coverage and it brought a tear to my eye.

Dean Smith thank you for bringing that feeling back!!

Bloody hell supermom!...You need to come up to The Wednesday....I burst into tears ever f.ookin' 20 minutes!!!

Nah seriously I know...I can cope with relegations...losing at Wembley etc...

but on the odd occasion we ever do owt...I'm an absolute pathetic melt

El Ghazi, Hourihane, McGinn, Mings, Tuanzebe. All I thought were excellent. The rest not too far behind, I don't think anyone had a bad game today. So proud of them all.

El Ghazi for me...He was a threat throughout...I mean the last 15 minutes you can write off...cos once a 2 goal lead gets halved...every bugger plays like that.

I honestly thought Villa would run away with it after the second goal, Derby were not coping...

How did he fair at Wednesday?

    Onomah?

Total jury out mate..Just didn't see enough to make a decision

I do remember a game when I'd forgot he was on the pitch tho'

    Which is a bit worrying

Trouble is with Wednesday this season was...Everyone seemed under instruction to pass it to bannan...or failing that...shout

    "Shoooooooot" at Adam Reach

There was no finesse..it was all rather desperate...allied to the fact Luhukay fell out with several vital players, who when brought back were very influential in the forlorn charge from relegation to playoff hopefuls that your lads scuppered at Hillsborough

I thought he showed flashes of being a very bright talent, would make a great squad player I reckon, still young and learning his trade. Scored 4 goals for us. Did Bruce sign him on loan for Wednesday?

No mate...It was the idiot before him if I recall correctly

He will be one of those players Bruce will sign wherever he manages.

He is utter shite imonand we always dredded him coming on as a sub.

MMmm..Well thats a step up from f.ookin' Alman Abdi...but still sounds risky lol

He played a fair bit for us in the first half of the season but became a bit of a scapegoat when things weren’t going well. I don’t think he would have been so hated had he been our player but there was no chance he was getting another season with us.

edit: actually you summed up his time with us. Glimpses of a player but kept going missing.

don't think we can afford the risk then......signed so many wasters in the last couple of seasons its untrue..

For free or a few million yes. He’s an alright squad player learning his game.

Did he play much for Villa mate?

He has shown glimpses that theres a player there, but went missing for 20 minutes at a time....bearing in mind he wasn't the only bugger lol

    We know !

At least this year we will be going there to try and win

saddest thing was fulham decided to simply give in and take the drop again...One way of making money I suppose....but it does sod all to keep the leagues healthy
