Annoying really considering Utd have lost 4 and won 2 against the top six. And W-4 D-2 L-6 vs top half teams.
All of their success has come against bottom half teams.

Let's put this into perspective, Smith's games in green, Bruce's in Red.
Better performances, more points, more goals against much harder opposition.
If we play anything like our best We should flatten all of the next 6 teams we play even taking into account our shit luck recently and teams only seeming to turn up against us... only real challenge should be QPR but iirc a loss was a pretty unfair result earlier in the season, so we should do them at home. They have a really leaky defence with the only negative goal difference in the top half (battered by Albion 7-1 not helping), so feel we can slot 2 or 3 past them at home.
Concerning Preston. They are struggling to take points against teams around them recently, losing to hull and shef wednesday recently, sure they beat forest but got battered by the scum 3-0. We are playing great away from home atm and would be surprised if we don't beat them by 2 or 3 goals.

Deserved a bit of luck after recent games. If only we had got a bit more luck against forest, Albion and not thrown the game away against Leeds we would be comfortably chasing the autos atm. But Villa never really a lucky side.
Also no-one in their right mind can have anything bad to say against Smith... to put it into perspective looking at the table right now, he has played the entire top half of the table minus bristol/shef utd. Bruce played the entire bottom half minus Bolton/Swansea.
Smith's has taken more points, scored more goals, and conceeded less against much harder opposition and all while inheriting a team with a shambles of a back 5.

Lived in Australia as a teenager and moved back from Ireland recently. Was tough getting set up in Ireland and the rent/living costs is fairly high in the cities but higher wages generally balance it out and I generally found it easier to save there than England.
Also with my gf being Croatian I have spent around 6+ months of my life there and around another 4 travelling around eastern Europe. So I've been around a bit I guess haha

Hi there. Local villan who started going to games around the vassel/angel era. Went to games fairly regularly up until a few years ago when I moved out the country, but back again and will try to go to a few games even though I'll be living in London.
