  1. I opened a ticket account on Wigans ticket site and it wouldnt let me buy a ticket for the Villa game as i have no booking history.. I also tried buying 1 for their game v Spurs this Saturday , and again its only on sale to fans with booking history so the plans for people to invade the home ends looks a bit of a no-no.... unless you know some Wigan fans to get some for you.

Another way if you really want a ticket is buy a ticket for their game v Swansea which are on General sale, then get a Villa ticket after. Depends how badly you want to go really.

ps.... sorry to the mods if this post shouldnt be in here.

  2. We've sent a load back apparently be surprised if theres more than a 1000 there!

Yeah, it says on their ticket page that we've sent block 113 back, Used to sell out 2 tiers but now its about 2 blocks + i dont think the prices have changed too drastically.

Maybe its just cos its near Christmas... still poor though for us.

  3. We are £48 cos Liverpool have made us a "GRADE A" fixture... God knows why as we were only a "GRADE B" last year. Think we will do well to sell the initial allocation, which is a shame as its normally a good away trip. Their prices have gone up a bit this year...and yes Micflair, they are charging their fans the same price.

  4. Ive got a spare ticket if anyone wants it... i cant go due to being away over Christmas.

Its a adult ticket (£30) but willing to sell it for £25 due it being Christmas .. good will to all men etc.

Anyone want it, them PM me... Can arrange to post it, (once paid by Paypal , cheque etc) or you can collect it from me at Bolton , Liverpool or Arsenal games.

  5. There were around 2500 - 3000 of us. How you are going to prove it I don't know. Maybe get in touch with the ticket office.

THIS...also see if you can get your hands on a Manchester City programme since the game, either off a mate or ebay...in their programme they tell you the amount of away fans that go to each game

  6. Hello General.

    Hope all is well.

Someone asked this question a few days back, but couldnt find the answer.

With plenty of clubs already advertising their season tickets for 2011/12, when will Villa release information for theirs?

As youve read on here lately, some fans won't be renewing, mainley due to GH, thats fine, its their money + opinion.

No one person is bigger than the club, i support Aston Villa Football Club, and that includes good or bad experiences.

    :flag:

  7. Cant be 8/9th March as City will probably still be in the Europa League and you can't mess with the dick that is Mr Platinis tournement...could possibly be 2nd March + make City play 2 games in 3 days (fulham 28th Feb). Its really the FAs fault for having cock eyed friendleys that noone gives a shit about.

  8. Yeah..i'll renew aswell.

No one man is bigger than the club, i support Aston Villa....i renewed when O'Dreary was still there just before MON was appointed and will do so in the future whoever is in charge.

What GH did wasnt great PR for himself, and is probably a dead man walking with lots of fans but youve got to look at the bigger picture.

Thats my opinion, some won't agree, if not......tough shit.

  9. Anyone know when the tickets are being sent out? This is going to be a bit close to the wire!

avfc only received them today so theyve sent them out today. considering i leave tomorrow night yes i am getting slightly concerned too!

I bought mine last Wednesday, and was told to pick it up....collected it from the ticket office before the West Ham game on Saturday.

  10. I was in to sort out my ticket earlier at around half two and I was the 27th person to buy a ticket. Last year we had around 250-300 over and it was quite moody pre-game.

When i finally got through to the ticket office at about 2pm on Wednesday, the young girl informed that they had sold about 200 tickets.

She also said they hoped to have the tickets reach them by Saturday, but i should call the ticket office prior to getting there before the West Ham game.

  11. ticket office still have no idea on tickets so reckon there will be no prob getting one if you wanted one. cant see many going to be honest...

Only 400 tickets !!!!....chances of a sell out anyone.

  12. I was going to book flights but I've really got no idea how likely I'd be to actually get a ticket, so I've been holding off. At least flying from Manchester isn't likely to get booked up as quick as flying from Birmingham, but it was still close to £200 for the flight last time I looked and time is ticking by....

Youll get a ticket no problem mate. There was plenty of room in the away end last season.

This wont sell out cos the prices of flights in the Midlands are getting dear now, even to places like Bratislava which is just over the border. Im flying from Heathrow where its a direct flight.

  13. Villa 100%.

I put so much more time and money into supporting the villa than england.

Add into the equation, IF england win the world cup, the amount of plastic football fans around would be ridiculous

I'd take villa winning either FA cup/Carling cup or Europa league over anything the national team might win.

This....also might have something to do with that i hate half the England squad anyway

  14. Villa, BBC , Man City + Sky all have it down as a being 3pm on Saturday 1st May, but Sky still haven't announced which games they are showing that weekend, so with 4th place still up for grabs, and hopefully we'll still be in the frame , they will more than likely change the time to have it either on Sky or ESPN...

Any idea when Sky have to announce the broadcast fixtures for that weekend?
