Great night for the centre-right parties throughout Europe, most notably in the UK, the Netherlands & Italy, with an exception of the Czech Republic, so that will do me
If only Daniel Hannan's views on Europe were representative of his Party Leader, although Mr Cameron may have to re-think his stance on the referendum after the British electorate have delivered a damning verdict tonight on the sham, that is the EU.
And Labour suffering their worst showing in the polls since 1918, beaten in Wales where they have never before lost, and not having a single MEP representative from the South-West of England, absolutely brilliant...Still think you can save the world Mr Brown?
Despite what seem to be a majority of left/liberal voters who seem to "shout loudest" on here, the statistics are there for all to see, and the British people have spoken tonight- and they've spoken loud and clear.
Completly agree. Great night
Maybe the politically correct PC brigade, will now realise, that it's not about racism it's about a clampdown on mass immigration and this is what the protest votes are all about.
I voted for the BNP, Im certainly not racist and I don't agree with much of what they say, but this is the ultimate protest vote, and my hope now is that Liebore and co will wake up to the views of our people.

Wow, Brown does somthing right - getting rid of the godawful Flint.
As for Burnley, it doesn't surprise me that they elected a BNP to the county council. Horrible downtrodden shithole, full of nasty little racists.
Careful, I agree its a dive, but you shouldn't tarnish EVERYONE from Burnley as being the same. I live in what might be considered as being a 'shithole' but I don't think im a scumbag.
*Hope not anyway!!

For anyone going to Burnley away next year, if you haven't been before it really is a place which is a throwback to the 70's. More so than anywhere else in this country I have visited before!

The only winners in this whole thing appear to be the Tories and the BNP.
UKIP seem to have under-achieved.
-
I voted BNP.
Not ashamed to admit it either. The governemnt has forced us into a corner and it's time that protest votes were made, be it Greens, UKIP, BNP or any other smaller party.
The BNP were the only party who really supported the St Georges Day Parade in Sandwell and the only party who had a candidate come to my door to try and persuade my vote.
I also disagree that ALL members of the BNP are racist. I know 3 members and I can assure you none are racist, 2 of them were former big Labour men and trade union members. But you can push people so far before they retaliate. Looks like that is what is happening.

This is a thread for questions not a place to continue the debates from the main board.

Most of you are going by the fact he is a scumbag (which I agree, he is!).
But what about as a player? A potentially 'cheap' buy?
I think he's OK. Nothing special. But if we could get him for something like a million quid, and MON could somehow change his attitude....
-
Discussion about this at work today. Most people I work with are Villa, mixed with a few noses and Albion.
Noses said they would have him. No surprise. He would be there best player and he's a scumbag so....
But for Villa it was 50-50.
Pro's - A potentially really good player, who we could get for a very low price, and MAYBE with the right manager, someone like MON, his bad boy attitude COULD change?
Con's - As it is now, he's a total scumbag.
Yes or No?
-
I thought he was one of our most over-rated player since I have been watching the Villa. Loads of our younger fans loved him, because he had one good season, and he was a bit of a poser.
I just found him lazy, missed LOADS of chances, and not really my type of player.

General,
Any chance of a pre-season friendly tour to Holland? Cracking trip a few years back, and whilst USA would be great, the majority simply cannot afford it.
I know im being cheeky and you may not have any power over this but thought I would ask anyway!
Cheers Gen.

'You are my Barry
My Gareth Barry
You make me happy when skies are grey
So **** your Lampard, and Steven Gerrard
And please don't take my Barry away'
'Oh Carlos Cuellar you are the love of my life
Oh Carlos Cuellar i'd let you shag my wife
Oh Carlos Cuellar, we want curly hair too!'

Definatly liking these 2 !!!

General, first of all thanks for your honesty in awnsering questions. It really is appreciated.
Just like to say if you can pass this message on to Randy and the rest of your board members:
THANK YOU FOR GIVING US OUR FOOTBALL CLUB BACK!
-
And can we take more if we request them?
-
Also General could I add:
When I used to phone the ticket office, if it was busy you would be placed in a que and stay on the line. Now all I get is the engaged ringing tone. Any reason or is it simply because the lines are jammed full?
Thanks

Hi General.
My first post on this thread and I would like to first of all thank you for coming on forums like this. You will inevitably get some rough patches but, it means so much for us supporters to be able to express our views to one of our club directors. Thanks General, and also to Randy and the team for all you have done for our club.
Can I just say Gen, that In my opinion, Villa should take up as much allocation as they are given for Prague. I know many people, myself included have spent alot of money and saved for this trip, and even though I have a season ticket with 2 away games from this season, it would be sad for anybody to miss out.
Thanks General, and keep up the good work.
