  1. He needs to contribute more. It's all well and good making a few decent passes, interceptions, tackles, tracking your man etc. But that is bread and butter for a Prem player. What is he contributing to the team on top of that, he doesn't create many chances, doesn't score goals, doesn't have an imposing prescence on the pitch. I like him, he's got a good attitude and is a good player, but does he have any other strings to his bow to make him a long term prospect in the middle of the park for a top half Prem side.

  2. Nzogbia is a top player and I think better than young. His delivery from set pieces and dribbling is better and he assists and scores more.

    No.

  3. You gotta hand it to him. Heat being in the ECF justifies to some extent his 'decision', and the scenes at the end of game 5 were awesome. Heat - Mavs finals anyone?

  4. That Rose 44 points is his highest ever points total. Real test will be whether he can be as effective in the ECF.

And the Lakers are all but out 3-0 down to the Mavs. Pau had another shocker for the most part and generally the Lakers looked like they just don't want it as much as the Mavs. Looking forward to both games today. The way the playoffs are going the championship could be anyone's this year.

  5. I don't follow any particular team per se. But i have favourites and teams i really like to see fail. I pay more attention to the Lakers and OKC more than others i suppose.

First quarter of Game 3 Bulls/Hawks is off to a really good start. Rose is looking shaky on defense but is absolutely devastating offensively.

  6. No chance of that with Artest out, Odom will start at SF and what other big men do Lakers have who would do a better job. What has happened to Pau? Seems like he turns to shit at this point every year.

  7. It's no surprise that Denver looked much better after the trade and the Knicks were as hopeless as ever. They were complete toothless against the Celtics in the first round.

Lakers need to get the win tonight or they have a near impossible task ahead of them. Artest is suspended which will probably help them get the win.

  8. Heat Vs Bulls would only be competitive if Rose's ankle can stay okay. Bulls don't have enough on offense without him.

Unlike most, i don't have much hate for the Heat. I don't see a great deal wrong with the way they set up in the summer. Despite Lebron going about it the wrong way. A lot of folks would lose faith in the NBA if the Heat won a championship this year. But it goes to show how good Lebron and Wade are that they are actually making it work and their bench is looking better now.

  9. I like Phoenix too. Mostly because of Nash, but the Suns had a pretty poor season.

I can see the Thunder taking the West Finals if they come up against Dallas. Heat look a pretty good bet for the East.

  10. Lakers 2-0 down to the Mavs in the West semi's. Looks like there will be no 3-peat. Heat looking the strongest in the East, Wade was unstoppable Game 1 against the Celtics at the weekend. Anyone else watching the playoffs? Anyone play nba 2k11?

I think this season was the first time i payed more attention to the nba over the Premier League.

  11. We should all keep in mind that tonight we were away against the team that is likely to win the league. We looked comfortable on the ball, Makoun in particular. Had a few decent chances and sloppy defensive play cost us getting any kind of result. Lots of positives to take into the next few games.
