I don't think there is any reason why Weimann would have to know Amy more than we do. He is more likely to hear something but it's very possible there is something going on he doesn't know about.

Can't really see what any journalist would get out of saying we won't be sold this summer if it's not true. Time to face facts guys. We're screwed.

It was a stupid thing to say but I don't think it should be taken too seeriously. The man had just come ffrom a days training where one of his top signings has broken his  leg. He probably feels like the lads could do with a bit of a rest.

I don't think he went that far. I remember him saying he had a Villa shirt and followed Villa. Not sure he said we were his team.

Although always officially a Villa fan (inherited from my Dad) I have never really followed football too closely until a few years ago. After moving in with some uni mates who supported Villa, Everton and Tottenham I got sucked in and it's now a full time obsession.

I have been a regular poster on another forum for a few years and someone posted something about you guys recently so I thought I'd come and check out the forum
