Ony Westwood ran more than him today, and he knows where to be in the box, although he could not find the target today.

We looked like a team today, and that's a change from last year! Cissokho surprised me by going forward so often (even did a great run in the eightieth minute), and was our best player. I fact all were good except N'Zogbia, who still can't pass the ball before he runs into a defender. Well, and Agbonlahor was just average.

I personally blame the Atari ST. Before that, people had to wait an age for their tape sourced computer game to load - and they'd play it anyway even if it was shit, mainly because they had waited a week for it to load.

Then the disc drive came along!

 

Bring in CD's and people had random access to all the tracks on an album. No long did you have to listen to the whole thing, just play the tracks you know then **** the album off!

 

Fast forward to Play Stations and XBox, and no one has any patience for anything!!  

 

 Instant gratification is all that matters. Dan kids!!

If he needs time, give him time...on the bench. He is not ready for the pace of PL. He looks comfortable with the ball, but is easily overrun. The challenge on Fellaini inside the box for the 2-3 goal is just typical - a bit to late with no real heart in it.

I think we all know Stan is a real fighter, but did he beat up Karate Kid in his youth???

What I also find interesting is the potential for Ole to pick up some Scandinavian gems. Players like Markus Henriksen, Ruben Yttergård Jenssen, Valon Berisha, Thomas Drage and Remi Johansen from the Tippeligaen could all be people he may look at as having potential to play his style of football. Chances are they wouldn't cost the world either.

Of those maybe two could do well at Villa, Jenssen and Berisha (I admit I don't know much about the last one), the other three are just not good enough. Drage has been poor so far this season, and Johansen isn't even in the team. The one thing we do know is that Solskjær wanted Kara Mbodj earlier, and he is truly to good for the Norwegian league!

Get well soon Petrov, I'm sure you will beat this thing! You are a true professional, and I respect you greatly as a player and man.
