  1. Android 2.2's started rolling out to the nexus one now.

Come on HTC, don't keep me waiting too long, I want flash 10.1!

HTC still haven't released 2.1 for HTC Hero for UK as yet, though promising to release it back in Januray, then March, then April and now promising to release it in June. So don't have your hopes up mate, probably won't see it till November/December time.

Also I don't think they will update all their phones to Android 2.2, think it will be the HTC Desire, probably also the Legend, Incredible (US) and Evo 4G (US) and any other phones they release this year (possibly the HTC Wildfire too even though thats pretty low spec).

I am thinking of getting a nexus one for 2.2. Wish the HTC Incredible and Evo 4G would work in UK :(

  2. Android is fantastic. I have HTC Hero and Motorola Milestone (Droid in America).

I released a game last Tuesday, a paid version and a free version. Only sold a few of the paid version but the free version has been downloaded 2700 times so far.

What annoys me is some people who have left stupid feedback on the game (free version). See http://tinyurl.com/36uw3ff

Someone wrote "THIS GAME SUCK DO NOT INSTALL". I mean WTF?! Its not a bad game at all, breakout games may be a bit boring for someone but comments like that are not fair. It could be an author of a similar game trying to put people off my game for all I know. Other comments I can accept, I have updated the game and up vibrate option as requested by someone.

The other thing that is annoying is people can only buy through Google checkout. I wish they would introduce carrier billing so you can get it on your phone bill. Think they have done it for T Mobile in America but nothing here in UK or elsewhere :(

Anyone here can download my free version and give it a go. Would appreciate of someone can give me a good star ranking in the market and some comments! Game is called "Brick n' Ball- Dragon Wars". If you search for "dragon wars" you will find it.

  3. The Evo 4G phone will not work in UK because its for CDMA/Wimax networks, which we don't have here.

The HTC Incredible known as HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon network in America is also very similar to HTC Desire though it does have a better camera and looks slightly better, spec wise it's the same but it won't work here in UK either because its not a GSM phone.

Going back to the topic, HTC Desire is an awesome phone and it's good to see HTC advertising it here in UK. I think this is the first phone from there which they are marketing really hard in UK.

  4. Alpay and Mellberg were awesome, I don't believe Mellberg and Laursen can be included in the list as I don't remember them playing together as CB's that much, Mellberg was playing at rightback when Laursen was in great form. Ugo and Southgate were also awesome and on par if not better than Alpay and Mellberg. Real shame with Alpay, the guy went crazy after being named in world cup team of tournament and that issue with Beckham didn't help, real shame that.

  5. I am still delirious. I was going to be out for the first half so I set to record it, got back and switched my mobile off and started watching from start (about 40 mins behind real time). We got to 70 mins and I was crapping myself think shit we need to score a goal and had the urge to fast forward it but resisted the urge and watched the full game, breathless after 90 mins.

What a performance by the players. Excellent tactics by MON, good sub choices.

  6. Tuncay was there for the taking, and MON declined.....this will come back to haunt us....

A player like Krancjar who is quality, we should have made a run at him...

Downing and Warnock stand out as the best signings. I'm hopeful that Delph will make me change my mind, though.

Would have liked us to sign Tuncay. Krancjar is overrated IMO and would have hindered Albrighton's progress.

  7. Not amazing but certainly a very good window

Have sorted out our leftback and rightback positions. Once Dunne signs then that will be a solid backline, don't think we could have done better in CB positions TBH.

Have signed a real quality player in Downing although he's injured at the moment and signed a very talented kid who everyone rates highly.

Would have loved us to sign someone like Van der Vaart, but nevermind, I am looking forward to the rest of the season.

  8. 9 for me.

Got a great job, earn real good money and have no debt. Am happily married, got a great family and friends. Own house, health wise I don't really have any issues and Villa are doing well (compared to what they were in the recent years). I really think I am blessed. It wasn't the case a few years ago when I was single and earned small money compared to now but then again I had just finished education.

The only downer for me would be my parents health/age, otherwise would be 10.

  9. Brad 8 - Great saves

Shorey 7 - Best game for us,

Davies 8 - Brilliant - Both him and Cuellar need to play more together to have a better understanding, both went for same ball about 3 times

    Cuellar 8 - Brilliant

    Beye 8 - was awesome

Sidwell 8 - Terrific, ran his socks of

NRC 8.5 - Just fantastic, did what he does best, close down players and win the ball

Petrov 8 - Excellent, sheilded the defence, kept the ball, passed well

Ash 7 - Great free kick, chased back all night when under pressure, switched to middle to cause more problems at times

Milner 7 - Typical Milner performance, never stopped running

Gabby 7 - Hes bulked up quite a bit, was good, caused them problems but needs to improve his first touch

MON - 8.5 - Got his tactics and team spot on

  10. This country is already far too soft.

They should leave them in jail IHMO.

You know he's 100% innocent of course?

This conviction stank from before he was delivered into British hands.

I even doubt he's got cancer tbh and I don't reaaly care because this has more to do with World politics than it has to do with any individual

He was convicted on the flimsyest of evidence. To me this is just part of the same deal that brought him here and its all to do with oil and in its own part it diminishes Russia's influence on the world.

And yes I do think its one big huge conspiracy, and for once, I dont care.

Couldn't agree more. The whole deal (conviction, release) stinks. What stinks more is the alleged 'disgust' by some politicians, I think its just a frontage for the public.

But lets say he was guilty, I don't think I would have released him personally but have to give commendation for the showing of compassion. That truley is a great gesture... if of course the whole thing is genuine.

He was convicted, and that conviction still stands, no matter what 'expert' knowledge there is that has decided that he is innocent.

The 'disgust' at the way the Libyans have triumphantly glorified his return is perfectly justified.

Many people here might not care but around 20 years ago 270 innocent people were murdered when a commercial airliner was blown out of the sky.

270, three strokes on a keyboard, just another statistic to many it seems....

Yep and 290 innocent people were murdered in an Iranian plane shot down by the americans, funnily enough the commander who carried it out was given a medal, how do you think the Iranian familes felt about that?!

How about the 2.7 billion US dollars Libya gave to to the US families as compensation. If they were happy to accept the money they should just stay quiet! Perhaps they want a dollar each from everyone who gave him a welcome along with a free barrel of oil.
