Prepared! Commentary on, booze in, wife out, worries gone.
Play the reserves and keep the first teamers uninjured. (Jonathan Kodija was just one who was injured in an end of season dead rubber & never really played again for Villa.)
I'll make sure she has fun dude. Thanks for letting me borrow her

Gallagher is absolutely ideal signing, versatile CM can be CDM, AMC or play off RM/LM as one of the narrow 10s.
I've got to be honest I've never understood what he does as a player, but, I am open to have my mind changed.

No to Gallagher and Barkley im hoping this is the last i hear of this nonsense, we are going into the champions league and these are the names im seeing
I doubt anybody would have Moreno or Rogers as players to transform us either tbh

We really don't need much. We have a strong squad and we can't be as unlucky with injuries as last season.
Players will continue to develop.
If we can add 2 or 3 smart signings we will be in a very strong position.
This. Even just Mings and Emi returning make a difference. Get a Kamara replacement/support, a right back.and more reinforcements in midfield and attack, and we are good to go.

I've never really "got" him.

If we lose this can Man United catch us?

True but the level of opponent will be much stronger so will take more out of the players. It’s why we will need a stronger squad for rotation and hopefully will have much better luck with injuries this time.
Considering what we did with a depleted side, and with those injured coming back and new signings, I'm hoping we will be a lot stronger and ready for the task

If I’m correct, Villa will be the 11th English team to play in the Champions League format of the European Cup.
can you name the other 10 (or more if I’m wrong)
Blackburn, Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs, Man City, Leicester, Liverpool.... And I can't think of the other one.

Not that it matters but why did Diop get a red card for that challenge at the end? Thought if a penalty given there’s no red card too under the new double jeopardy thing, and it was a genuine attempt to tackle/block the shot.
It was a yellow, making it his second.
