All I hope is, that when the new manager is signed, everyone sticks together and back him and the team. We really need it... UTV

He will be world class. He seems to be the type of player who adapts in any level he plays at. But if we should have any chance of bringing him to Villa Park, now is the time. In the next window he will be out of our range. He Will most likely get his debut on the Danish international this spring.Get Sisto Pione from Denmark, just Got his debut on the u21 international with an hattrick... He will be a worldclass player in 2/3/4 years... He's a wide player.
There's a video of him somewhere upthread I think. He looks world class in that, for sure. And not in a Tonev kinda way, either.

I'd take anyone anywhere. We're the migthy Villa and the FA cup is ours this year....

Let's sign another Danish beast, please!

he's ben playing with a poker face the size of the pyramids. First Lambert was given no money, then 10m, and then all of a sudden we are in for anyone with caps for their country. I like....Have Lerner written a blanco check?

I think Okore Will stand out next season. If he's fit and free of any injuries, he will be next years player of the season at Villa, or at least in the top 3... He's got so much talent and potential and by far, the most talented Danish defender

I like it, but I'll wait until the new owners take over, as I don't see a point of putting any more money into Randy's pockets. The money I spend on Villa, I expect go to Villa.

May the 3rd. Home win over Hull.
I brought my 6 year old son to villa park for the first time of his life. Ever since his was born, my dream had been, taking him to villa park. All day was perfect, nice weather, good fun at family fun day, great result, fantastic atmosphere at villa park, he got Fabian Delph's autograph and a picture taken with him. His last words to me, before he felt to sleep that night was, "Dad, this has been the best day of my life"
It was not just the proudest day as a villa fan, but also the proudest day as a parent.
For the record, we are from Denmark, and raising a 6 year old boy, to be a Villa fan in Denmark is hard work. Especially after he started in school, were he have found out that Aston Villa isn't the only team in the world, and they do not always play as good as dad tells him:-)

would be a bad idea if he is released. He is still hot in Denmark and would be suprised if some dutch clubs was'nt still keen on him. FC Copenhagen and brondby in Denmark could easily pay £1m if they want toI wonder where Lambert stands with selling players. Buying is fine, but he could sell a player he doesn't like, then get sacked shortly after a takeover, and a new manager might have liked to have kept that player (Helenius) as part of the squad.
Don't think he'll be sold, suspect he'll be released on a free. Not ITK, but seems like that's a sensible interpretation of "not relying on him for next season", ie. we're gonna get rid no matter what.

With the right new owner, what about Jorge Jesus from Benfica? Bet he could save the club
-
I would go for Agger at Liverpool. He's been told that the Club Will listen to offers... Never going to happen due our current situation though...Ferdinand now he has left Man U would be ideal for us. Even if he only plays every other game it would be worth it. Experienced and a leader available on a free.
-
Weimann would be okay, but Delph is the one we should build the midfield around... He's our next captain

Rome was'nt build on one day, lets be happy with what we have managed to hold on and what we have brought in so far. I'm happy with the squad, as it is now.Disappointed slightly if thats it. We're crying out for a decent playmaker.
-
Dont worry, we buy him for £5m when they go Down next year:-)Cardiff have had a bid of around £9m rejected for Capoue. These 'smaller' teams are really swinging heavy this season. Both financially and in regards to the type of players we will see next season. Some of Europe's top young talent.
I'm fully behind Lambert but it does make me sad to see this stuff
-
all the deadwood did'nt play any role last seasons good run, maybe NZ... So any new signings from now on is a bonusWe don't need to replace what we sell, because they played no part really. We can only register 25 players over 21, remember, and we've pretty much got that already
-
Think Villa have done a better deal, by signing Helenius, fee and wage put in mind. Cornelius is a huge talent, but I dont rate him £6m higher than Helenius. Thats the same we payed for Benteke, and on double Bentekes salery.Cornelius going to Cardiff is interesting. Thought a bigger club would be in for him.

Okore have told the Danish media, that the whole package that Villa had offert him is the main reason why he came. The manager, future prospects, training facillities etc.Wonder whats selling our club so well that players as coveted as Okore are happy to sign.
By the Way, if not mentioned before, FC Norsjælland rejected a late offer from Everton, in respect of the negotiations they had with Villa

When I was 7 years old, we only had 4 different tv channels. 3 of them was german.... It was back in 1982. An May night, my father gave me permission to see a football match in the tv. As you proberbly allready have guessed, it was the European cup final. I had never heard of Aston Villa, my dad had told me about the Giants from Germany. So munich had an advantage to begin with, but the longer the match went on, the more sympathy I got for Villa. First of all, Aston kinda sounded like my first name in my little 7 years old ears (Allan). The I totally lost my heart to the fighting, never surrending attitude the whole Villa team had that night. My fascination of Aston Villa Football Club started that night with the first football match i remember

But why? He's still got 3 years left of his current contract. We can duble or trible his wage, but he'll proberbly be gone after next years World cup anyway, so whats the rush. The Big clubs and wages wont come if he's not continue scoring goals, then he Will be stuck here for another year at least. The longer it goes that he hasn't signed the more worried i get
He has the right to give Lambert a transferrequest, and we have the right to say no.
