Throw in a few relegations and a shite season with Rangers and it seems to me his record is a bit hit and miss not poor.

    ...............edit............grrr..............fucvkin plastic city.........

    Alex McLeish winning % in Premier League; 108 matches 28 Wins = 25,9 %

Must be one of the lowest.

+ Villa and Blues have been investing little more than the very smallest ones.

++ BORING SHIT THAT HE PLAYS

  2. to join a club on a similar standing, obviously somthing has changed.

WE ARE NOT ON A SIMILAR STANDING TO LIVERPOOL!!!

SNAP OUT OF IT...STOP KIDDING YOURSELF!!!

LIVERPOOL A HUGE WORLD WIDE BRAND!!!

    Spot on.

steaknchips, no offence but I think you should travel bit more, if you think Liverpools fanbase is about asia. Sadly, and forgetting less than 20's generation, in continental Europe Liverpool FC equals to English Premier league. Strong, really strong fanbase from scandinavia-russia to southern europe. Traditionally symphaties goes to these muppets, rather than the new boys ManU. Here of course they are has-been-shit, that's all.

  3. Hope Cuellar is okay - we wouldn't want to be starting the season with doubts over both him and Collins.

I actually think davies/dunne could be a defensive dream team, may be a blessing in disguise

Let me guess, that worked in some manager game.

  4. Mancini going in his classless ways, now tapping up Torres. Plus telling about valuation of Milner, surely this can be read in a way that Jimmy would only be a bonus for them, no more than a squad player. At BBC

City boss Mancini is still interested in Aston Villa's England midfielder James Milner, although he insisted the club would not be held to ransom.

"When Manchester City enquire about a £10m player, the club asks for £20m. That is not good for us," stated Mancini.

"James is still a player who interests us but only at the right price."

They know how much he means to us.

    5 Manchester City 38 67

    6 Aston Villa 38 64

  5. MON is as exciting as ever when it comes to transfer windows. He runs into the dark and hide until there is only a few days left of the window he hates so much...

Its not easy to strengthen the squad when you hate how the transfer market works. I wouldnt go into something with a burning heart if I didnt like it...so I am not surprised MON again has so big problems being active in the transfermarket.

It will be MacGyver-type-of-tactics again...bargains that he will eventually get some good games from...occasionally.

I like the way you put it.

  6. Foreign exchange broker targeting brand awareness through football terraces, right.

Those corporate boxes hardly do you that 80/20.

There's so many "leading" brokers these days, it's surely an show off.

Yet you're not totally wrong, yeah it'll do your brand what it did to red32 what ever that is, but you could ask why from football shirt?

Whatever reason, i don't mind, as long as they stay in business while under contract with us. It just sound so predictable bad.

  7. The window has been open 8 hours and 40 mins now, why hasn't O'Neill signed anyone yet???? :)
8 hours 52. This is getting ridiculous.

Well, Martin was surprised to find out, after defeat to West Ham that we did use least ammount of players last season, in fact that's an hattrick. But Martin won't think that losing tough away match yesterday at st.James Park was due to any other fact than, that you just can't beat recently promoted teams at their home starter.

But we will be looking to bolster our squad before end of the month, hopely before Everton defeat at 28th, and it's not only up to MON, the big clubs have to got their time first, we are looking to things.

  8. 2) Most importantly, Villa lack squad depth. Yes Milner is a fine player, but 28m would allow you to sign (for example only) Parker + Jenas + striker X ... possibly (depending on the identity of striker X) with a 4 or 5m thrown in on top by Lerner. Overall, you'd end up better off.

You really think MON would solve our squad depth problem after/by selling Milner!

Common sense my ass, we should sell MON. Maybe then they would want to stay.

  9. Love your link Briny...

Can't understand how people here are putting value on Milner, money & Irelands and SantaCruzes...when you don't sell your Scholes,Giggsys,Terry's, Lampards and change them for naniandersons or what ever amount of maybeshouldbecouldbe players, if you want to win anything.

    Unbelievable.

    Now back to sleep.
