I think the knee injury as took its toll.

Its evident by the amount of times he's caught offside by having to start runs early to compensate for his lack of pace.

Hopefully its temporary.

as for the offside, i agree and think that his timing issues have been made worse by his lack of fitness this year. he certianly isn't fast, and it's always clear that villa are a much better side with some pace.... like vass

I think buying a new captian is needed as well, as i think Ollys tenure has run its course... but as someone else mentioned it think it would be near impossible for someone to be bought and within less than a year be given the armband. the player has to be given about a year buffer to settle in and command the respect needed...

there are a lack of captains in the squad.

thats for sure, big lack of leadership...

but i picked other because i think Nobby's our man right now.. for sure Olly's been solid and he always seems to be, barring a few scary moments, but Solano really has the class and experience that our boys need more of right now
