I would like to take the opportunity to back this up. I work in Manchester and yes 95% of my colleagues are manu fans and they are amazed a main board director takes the time for this.

I doubt NRC would have been told 4 or 5 unless MON believed he would get 4 or 5. Isn't that how he breeds trust and faith in his players - by telling them the truth

1. I am reading other threads and other site...so don't think my head is in the sand. I will make ONE comment on this subject and then stop...because I have stated on more than one occasion that I have nothing to do with players. BUT: Do we lose faith in our Manager over one possible signing? Do we dismiss what he did last season with a squad that was given to him? Do we dismiss his signings over the winter? Do we dismiss our 5 year plan because we didn't win the Cup in Europe in year 1...do we lose faith that we can do what we have set out to do? Do we believe we know more about the needs of the Club than MON? Do we second guess him every time he makes a move? And, finally, if we did sign a player that fans aren't happy about...how do you think that player would feel joining a Club where the fans bashed him before he even signed??? Is that who we are as Aston Villa F.C.?

In may ways you, Randy and the management team should take the fans frustration as a complement, this time last year we'd have killed for this player, it's just that the changes made have led us to expect the earth and now not next week
