I am resigned to the fact that we will probably go down this season.

But I don't think replacing the manager AGAIN will solve anything.

The problems at our beloved club are far more deep rooted than the manager.

It feels like the club is rotten to the core!

fully expecting to be placed under a lot of pressure from them hoofing it up to their 2 big men

need an outlet where the ball can be hit towards the corners for someone to chase and take the pressure of a bit

best opportunities would probably come from a pacey counter attack

anyone wondering why Darren Bent has slapped in a transfer request?

I am wondering if it is because Villas offer was accepted and he wanted to attract the attention of other teams as he doesnt wanna come here. just a thought.

Villa's offer was rejected, then Bent put in the request.

If thats true then it makes sense but I thought our offer had been accepted.

Its a massive signal of intent though however its looked at!

Not sure if this has been posted, apologies if it has.

I know I am not the only one who hasnt recieved a copy of the yearbook and the latest edition of the club magazine Claret & Blue. I phoned the club reception and was told that there is no way of tracing who has been sent one and if I havent had one yet then I probably wont get one!

Is there any advice that you can offer me in regards to this topic?

This confuses me immensly! Dion is classed as a Holte End legend and Juan is about a 50/50 split! Yet they both scored nearly the same amount of goals in similar lengths of time!

I posted the below on the "Wigan away tickets" thread

I phoned the ticket office yesterday for 3 Wigan tickets, gave all my card details but was then told there was a problem with payments and to phone back today. I phoned back today to then be told that the Wigan game was sold out. I am very dis-appointed!

On first viewing it very much looks like the number 25 is drawn out - however, subsequent viewings I now think it is the 24, which for some reason has a line underneath it, as can be seen prior to it being pulled out - this line does make it look like a 25.

The 'other ball' in question cannot be seen and therefore we can't say if that is a 24 or 25.

There is sufficent doubt on both cases though - and that alone should lead to this whole saga being escalated.

Why was the ball showing number 25 not held up to see though as they do normally do this for every single ball for the cameras to see. Did he realise that he had made a mistake and then not hold the ball up to cover his ass!
