  1. The problem is not the home fans, the problem is what is happening on the pitch and that is caused by what has happened to Mr Lerner.

You have a fearful team that is not quite good enough and often a passive and nervous atmosphere at VP.

That is why we get more points away from VP.

  2. You can rely on the teams around us to be well organised, we, even when we have had decent results look like we can unravel at any time.

2 loses from the next 2 and we will be down

  3. It seems to be tweaked slightly but yeah at HT against Newcastle we went with this kind of formation.

Deserves credit for finally getting it right but at the same time it shows what a big part his decisions had in such an awful season.

I guess from your comments we probably view PL in the same way, ie not totally convinced but pleased he seems to be getting it right most of the time. We were a wondergoal away from losing today.

  4. He stopped playing 3 cb's and played with attacking width for the first time.

Was that when he setteled on the current formation 4-3-3 although he does tweak it a bit.

  5. Obvious good manager is obvious

    Hilarious.

Fantastic win. Thank god he finally saw sense at half time against Newcastle.

Deserves credit for our improvement for getting his decisions right recently.

Lets hope he's able to achieve the bare minimum he should this season.

What happened at half time at Newcastle?

  6. Just read a few pages back, how any one cant see that this is a massive achievement for our club, deep down in the heart of football its about blokes going out to play as a team, being proud of thier team and supporting thier mates. Our boys did that against a load of globally scouted primadonas from Chelsea who thought that all they needed to do was fly in thier superstar and the trophy would be theres.

Well it didnt work out like that, we were more of a team and a few lads showed real promise, for a few others this might be the biggest night in fottball and they will remember it for the rest of thier lives, remembering it wearing a Villa shirt.

Most of us would swap places with them right now.

  7. Jack is special, no doubt and there is no doubt that he will be given his chance. It is a massive step up though and pickning the right time is crucial.

Very very proud of the way our lads handled themselves tonight. UTV

  8. The most complete performance was the Lpool 5-1.

The most incredible atmosphere was the Manure LCSF second leg, my ears were still ringing the next morning

    The greatest achievement Rotterdam- obviously

    Special mention

    Bournemouth  3rd division

QPR SF replay at Highbury Brian Little walked on water

SHA away we won 3-2 phew

  9. Yeh I was i the same Gaff as Magic, we were half way through the 2nd Tangerine Dream Album man, and this cat starts spinning the umbrella in front of the lamp like really spinning it fast, some cat shouted he was hungry and Randy said he would nip down the shop to get some munchies, never been seen again and a lot of guys had a real bad trip man and there is some bad Karma coming his way dude.

Getting lots of bad refereeing decisions going against you- Tick

People saying if we play like that every week we will be OK (in the aftermath of another defeat)-Tick

    Manager saying we have 10, 9 8 7 Cup Finals. - Tick
