I'm happy with the re-design of the badge. Design is wholly subjective so clearly some won't like it. The sooner fans accept this is our new badge and move on the better.

stewiek2, why bad design? How could it be stronger to help the future marketing plan?

There's been a lot of talk about the "re-branding" of the club. Here's some more.snipped to save space.........

Personally speaking, it's got a lion on it, it says "Prepared" on it, it's a pale blue background, on a shield with no nasty yellow stripes. Looks alright on the club website and will look very nice on the kit. It's more than a nod to the past and we'll soon get used to it. And so will the world, hopefully.

Owen would surely only leave Newcastle for European football and the club would be reluctant to let him leave regardless. Milner was there best player this year so I can't see them letting him leave either.

I'm a fairly new poster and haven't trawled through all 200 -odd pages so apologies if I'm covering old ground but I'd love to see better and clearer info on the OS re: the Reserves and Academy set up. Also more updates on the Holte Hotel and the Training Ground.
