To be honest with the team we put out a 0-0 draw isn't the worst result in the world. A midfield 3 of NRC, Sidwell and Clark is lower mid-table at best...

Didn't say I agreed or not, but its done!

Robbie Keane is a done deal now that MON is staying on, you heard it here first 50pounds to Villa Talk if it doesn't happen...

General,
Just a quick query on the Villa Direct online megastore. I am from Australia and was placing an order to get the new home and away kits but noticed that postage for the items would be 11.95pounds, which is quite expensive. Then noticed that on all orders over 75pounds would be postage free inside the UK.
Wondered if this would be possible to apply to worldwide orders?
Much appreciated,
Smitta

There’s no ghost from the past, that we can’t shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no history that we can’t remake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no ghost from the past, that we can’t shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no destiny that we can’t create
Have a little faith in us
For all we know the best is yet to come
And we can climb that mountain and go
Where this love has never gone before
And in our wildest heart of hearts we will know
That we have been reborn
There’s no ghost from the past, that we can’t shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no history that we can’t remake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no ghost from the past, that we can’t shake
Have a little faith in us (have a little faith in us)
There’s no destiny that we can’t create
Have a little faith in us
For all we know the best is yet to come

I agree OzVilla, even if we are a little biased...

I know I will probably cop a bit of stick for this, but here goes...
Been told by an ex-teamate of Leicester goalkeeper Paul Henderson that he has turned down the chance to sign for Aston Villa and has instead decided to extend his deal at Leicester, reason being he wants to continue playing first team football...
I know your all probably looking at my post count thinking this guy is a clown but it's dead serious...
MOVED: I guess I am a clown then

I think Defoe could be an excellent signing, he is clearly unhappy at the Lane and I think that with MON's reputation for getting the best out of players he could fufill his undoubted potential and become a genuine 20 goal a season striker...

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is chasing Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.
The Mail on Sunday says Villa will table a £7 million bid for the England striker in January.
Defoe remains on the outer at Spurs, despite being involved in yesterday's 0-0 draw between England and Macedonia.

I originally voted no, which was after yesterdays performance, now that I think of it though, he is a good squad player and we need depth....

A couple of weeks ago you said to us to be patient and assured us we would hear from and see action from Randy and Faulkner. Well in that time we've paid 3million for McLeish and sold our two best players. As you always say, 'Actions speak louder than words'. We get the message loud and clear General.
