Out with a broken arm according to his Mrs on twitter who posted this picture.
-
I see we are linked to Aaron Cresswell. Anyone know anything about him?
Not much, was an ever present for Ipswich last season and he's a left back.
-
Saw it in JD sports yesterday. Not bad to be fair, feels nicer than the last couple of Nike kits. Still I noticed they have claret and blue Fred Perry's for about the same price and bought one of those instead! Won't date and can wear for more than one season. Considering buying the replica '81 top as well for the same reason. The only replica kits I have bought the last few years were the Acorns Nike ones mind you.

Yawn. That's why the last Euros were a good watch, no England! Of course I'll watch but I will it enjoy far more once we're out.

Not seen this reported anywhere else and if true strange the club has kept it so quiet.
Fair play for finally getting it right with Lambert but the previous two appointments really set us back IMO. Yet more evidence the FA don't have a scooby! But it was chief executive Paul Faulkner who has played a leading role in securing Lambert's services and he was this week elected onto the FA Council. -
So now you have him, a ruddy good manager no doubts on that, nasty and selfish, but he knows the game.
I don't wish him or AV well, infact I hope he implodes with you.
But please cut me some slack, I'm very bitter today, one thing for sure though our game with you at our place should be lively.
Cheers.
There is a ginger scotsman currently browsing your website and on the careers with norwich button.
Welcome Paul, I'm genuinely excited about watching Villa again. So glad I renewed the day McLeish got the boot!

The Star reporting we're interviewing him on Monday. Martinez also linked again... link
PAUL LAMBERT will hold talks with Aston Villa early next week as the club extend their search for a new manager.Norwich boss Lambert has been contacted by the Midlands club and is expected to hold talks on Monday over whether to succeed Alex McLeish at Villa Park.
Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer flew back to Norway last night with his future still under a cloud of uncertainty.
The Molde chief was flown in and out on Randy Lerner’s private jet in a whirlwind 24 hours – but left without being offered the job.
He will now turn his attentions back to the Norwegian club and preparations for tomorrow’s clash with Sandnes Ulf.
That will allow Villa to speak with Lambert and also make another attempt to attract Roberto Martinez from Wigan.
Martinez rejected the chance to move to Villa Park last summer, but Lerner remains a huge admirer of the Spaniard and is keen to speak to him again.
Solskjaer said: “I can confirm that I have spoken to Aston Villa. There were no negotiations, but an informal chat. Villa also have other candidates they want to talk to. I wanted to show Villa respect as one of the big clubs of the Premier League.”
A Villa statement last night said: “This process will be focused and consistent with the Board’s objectives, which are to secure a manager who can help to reinvigorate the club and bring some vibrancy back to Villa.
“We are aware that certain individuals have been linked with our managerial vacancy but, out of respect to all potential candidates and any clubs they may currently be employed by, we will not discuss specific individuals by name.”

I voted No (because of McLeish) and my brother is also the same. Been a regular for the last 6 years and used to be a regular back in the early 90s before Uni but can't remember a worse season at home in all my time following the Villa. Next season I will pick and chose games and try and attend more aways where the atmosphere and performances are generally better.

Apparently pubs using Viasat have all lost the live football. They have agreed to block the content outside of Scandanavia. Hope they all find an alternative or it's back on the laptop for me.
-
not on at rococo or apres solihull.Anyone know of any pubs in the Birmingham area showing the game? Normally go to the Rococo but not sure if it is being shown here as the webpage details TBCDamn Après haven't got it. Did you talk to Rococo?

Get well soon Stan. Awful news.
-
All over!
-
How must Darren Bent feel now ?
Should find out tomorrow as he is due to give another England press conference.
-
Downing can **** off with those comments tbh. I don't care if a new manager comes in who persuades him to sign a new deal, we'll all know it was simply about the money. Still it happens to Man U with Rooney and Citeh with Tevez and they get the deal so shouldn't really be too surprised. Would rather see Albrighton, Bannan etc given their chance over these mercenaries.

This put a huge grin on my face, love away days and gutted to have missed today.

A Bloozer is walking his dog when a genie appears & grants him one wish. The Bloozer asks for his dog to win crufts. The genie looks at the dog, which only has three legs, one ear & is blind & says ”I can grant wishes mate, but not miracles.” The genie suggests he should choose another wish. He thinks hard & then asks for the Blues to beat Arsenal at Wembley. The genie says ”OK..give me another look at that dog!”
-
Heskey for Albrighton, Young on the wing hopefully. We might as well go for it.
-
It will be some time before this is played as has been mentioned due to the replay date. By the time it comes around we could be back in the groove on the back of a winning run so who knows. The Manchester whoodoo has to end some time. ETA County are still in this too and could cause an upset.

Another easy home draw for the shit as well
-
Shite
-
anyone apart from man u,chelsea or blues away!
this...and I would add Man City or Arsenal away, no thanks!
-
MUST WIN GAME - don't care how we do it, results tonight prove the teams around us are scrapping for their lives and we need to do the same.
-
**** this shit

Mindless idiots on both sides always come out the woodwork for these games. Never going to the sty ever again for this reason amongst many others although it's remarkable how the matches at VP never end up with this ammount of aggro.
