I felt quite optimistic before checking out this match thread, this is supposed to be an Aston Villa Forum, Have some optimism guys, for fek sake!

When i was a young lad my dad ran a footie side in Tamworth. Amington Boys and this lad Mark Albrighton came down for a trial but he was to young..

We later saw him playing for a team called Elford Boys (dont quote me on that) But at the side of the pitch every week his parents and friends would chant Deano Deano!

No idea why that is, when his name is actually Mark (Marc) So would be nice to hear that again when he plays at villa park.

The issue was (i believe it to be anyway) that their was no link to the story. If someone just joins and posts up something without any evidence people are going to doubt it, thats a fact. Also I'm with old_fart it did sound like that you said he had signed, so therefore there would be something on the bbc or skysports.com. Since there was none, I believe thats why OF thought you were BSing.

It is good that Ballybunion_Ice has posted the link backing himself up and stating that it was only an interest. Perhaps next time (and I think this should go to all people) if you have heard a rumour on the web, make sure you put the link to it to show it isn't BS.

And with the Defoe link, nothing has happened yet. It doesn't mean the 3 of you (AWOL, RandyVilla and jafitz (you)) are BSing, but it does not prove it either. Villa park is about 40 miles away from this hotel.. and 10 miles away from me..

have you seen the quality of that hotel!!!! that could be a very good reason i know of no hotels like that in MOSS SIDE.. Lichfield is only an hour or so away from manchester... i thing there is a bigger chance he would be going to manchester than us to be honest...
