  1. Don't be fooled by the name 'Wigan', they were excellent today. Didn't see them put a single foot wrong. Not a very good day for Villa to be completely useless in every aspect of the game.

Its a club who have sold 4 of there best 5 players in the last 2 windows and lost there manager.

Dont be fooled by Wigan, fuckoff.

Wigan were excellent today, No? You disagree? They ran us ragged, they hit the post, had one cleared off the line, the missed a one-on-one, they controlled the tempo, they ran the show. 3 or 4 would have been a fairer result.

    nope we was shit

  2. i put non practicing christian..as i was christened..but tbh looking on the list i'm more agnostic..bordering aetheist

but i had my children christened....instigated by the wife..i'll do anything for an easy life :winkold:

  3. general..i was at the Blackburn game on saturday and indeed it was a nice touch from some of the players to acknowledge the support they got by throwing in their shirts.

I also dragged my wife and kids along to the Wigan game..i'm a season ticket holder in C3 Trinity road..but had to trade in these tickets so we could all sit together..this was in the North Stand..I can honestly say the whole experience was shocking..with the worst thing that the PA system was un hearable (is that a word?? lol)

Also, when you see games from old trafford the supportors are in the stadiuim at their seats well before kick off and at half time..at villa they appear just as the whistle blows..so when you have the cameras panning around before the game it looks barren..obviously when the game has started the cameras are focused on the action..how about some proper pre-match and half time enternainment combine that with food sellers down the aisles and people will be more inclined to take to their seats earlier

  4. General,

without turning this into a villa winge thread..I would like to tell you about a recent experience.

I am a season ticket holder in C3 trininity road together with my 6 year old lad.

I live over 200 miles away and are they for every home game. I am travelling as an away fan to the Blackburn game, and, as its the easter weekend,

I have persuaded my good lady wife together with both my kids to drive up to Birmingham and meet me to make a weekend in Brum.

I thought it would be good to take my wife and daughter together with my son and I to Villa park to the Wigan game on easter monday to show them

    what its all about.

I called the ticket office explained what i wanted to do...and they suggested, as C3 is all season tickets, that the best thing would be to surrender my season tickets and to have 4 tickets for the north stand (2 adults and 2 childrens)..so they have charged me for one adult and one child...now C3 tickets are a lot more than North stand tickets but I wasnt offered any refund back my way on my season tickets.

I am sure your aware that most season ticket holders are a little aggrieved at the moment regarding offers given to non season ticket holders...but I though the above just took the biscuit...would love to hear your thoughts.

PS hope you can make it the South West meeting on the 5th April !

  5. General,

my first request in this thread:

please, please please can the catering in the stadium be sorted ASAP

every game i got to...averaging...30k attendance by the time i get to the front of the que all the food has gone..bar some overcooked pies and chips.

yesterday at full capacity i queued for over twenty minutes..missing the start of the second half! only to find undercooked chips available.

I mean its not rocket science..why cant they be better prepared ?

you could get help from the fast food franchises to show them how its done (mc'd's, b/king etc)

I mean its all revenue, isnt it?

I sit in Trinity, C3, I see the girls with trays selling food in the Holte but not by me?

    D
