  1. apparently gravesen and strachan aren't getting on too well up in scotland

if we miss out on sidwell, i'd like us to go in for him

i know he's another celtic player, but he wouldn't cost that much and he's a definate step up to mccann

and would help bolster our centre midfield spots, whcih we need to do if davis and mccann leave, and he'd add that steel and energy in the middle of the park which we need

no way! maybe a couple of seasons ago, but not anymore. Yes he's an improvement on Mccan, but only marginally, we need someone better..much better.

  2. Lol this is ridiculous, you're judging his whole season and the way he plays on the evidence of one game at the ground of the league leaders? , the FACTS say he's scored SIXTEEN goals this season for a poor side, this myth about "work rate" is irrelevant, what's he payed to do exactly?, chase down defenders or SCORE GOALS?.

    Both, to be fair.

No because he can get away with just scoring goals because that's what he's there for, he couldn't get away with just chasing down defenders and not scoring, at the end of the day we want a striker who can score goals right?, and Yakubu scores goals right?, so i don't know what an earth people are complaining about.

Yakubu may score goals but look where boro are, maybe cos he's lazy and doesnt contribute much elsewhere beside goals is why the rest of the team is carrying him. Look at Rooney or Kuyt or even Drogba to an extent, and others, they track back and defend and help their team out. Just a thought, i may be wrong mind, and boro are just pants.

  3. To be fair, it may sound like a crazy question, but the fact is that i do not rate mclaren a worthy manager at international level. IF England don't qualify then he will defo get the sack. He is a prick.

Added third option to poll - just so I could vote ;) , well that and it only seemed fair to record ambivalence - Bicks

  4. Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Although I want Man U to win the title rather than Chelsea. MAn U use to be my most hated team, now Chelsea are. Cannot stand their arrogance and stupid financial aspect, "oh lets waste loads of money, I don't care, our owners minted". It is not how a club should be run. There is no sense of achievement in winning the league like that.

  5. We are all born as empty vessels. The genes just make the exterior. What makes the interior are through our experiences and those experiences later on form our attitudes and thoughts, by which they are certainly not stable. E.g. You believed in Santa Claus, then through experience and knowledge, your attitudes change. (Bit off topic).

  6. Picture this, imagine you were bought up where same sex relationships was normal and difference sex relationships not as usual. Now you would automatically try and be normal wouldn't you to try and fit in. Now reverse the situation and apply it today. We are all bought up where difference sex relationships are normal and same sex relationships not as common. Thus sexuality is predominantly determined by experience and environment, not genetics

  7. I can't see how it is a choice.

The writer of this post gets some freaky thoughts in his head & certainly doesn't choose to have them (I will leave that there  :winkold:)

I have no idea why I am attracted to women and not men, why I prefer tall women, why I prefer brunettes, and whatever else.

From a scientific point of view it possibly is a long, complicate and unsolved issue.

But for a man like me, it's damn simple - you are what you are, end of!

It is because you are brought up in the norm that is already preset in society. You have all been brought up that men should go with women since childhood. I believe its the environment and experiences that determine your sexuality with a little hint of genetics. about 80% nurture, 20% nature.
