Reads the game well and positionally is a million times better than Luna and Bennett, his decision making was top drawer. Knew when to commit to try and make the interception and when to attack or stay back and hold our shape. We desperately need to try and sign him if there's even a chance he is available in the summer, who knows.

My main criticism of Lambert is he just fails recognise what is happening on the pitch, time after time united exploited our left hand side and he didn't change a thing. He didn't change the shape or tell anyone to drop back and help, united saw that and tore Luna apart. When Delph plays he drifts over to that side naturally when he plays but Sylla doesn't really do that.

Time is running out for him now, a lot of opinions are changing quickly

Very poor today, but he had absolutely no support united constantly doubling up on him. Lambert just doesn't seem to see it or he just chooses to ignore it... It's been happening for weeks to whoever has been playing at LB.
