It's not just Villa though. All Internet Trading shopping sites (as far as I'm aware) have to show price before VAT and then price with VAT or both at the same time.

Amazon which is one of the largest internet shopping sites, shows the price you pay i.e. incl VAT , as does Tesco. No mention of VAT exclusive prices. Retail should be VAT inclusive whereas wholesale to trade should be VAT exclusive, because an individual cannot claim back the VAT as for wholesale customers therefore VAT content is irrelevant.

The new online store is much much improved, but there's still the flaw that there's still no facility to get the 10% season ticket discount online. Which to me is a big drop off.

For people who can't just nip down to the real world shop(s) it's a discouragement for both impulse buys, and planned shopping.

it would be nice if the ability to enter your patron code, or some other "proof" of season ticket holder status were available (perhaps in the gift certificate code box.

And why are prices shown ex VAT? - surely price you pay (i.e incl VAT) should be shown as is normal in retail. (Or perhaps show both if necessary for any overseas purchasers)

Plays for Real Betis, right sided midfielder/winger with lightning pace and played for Germany but had a bad injury last year playing an international so missed a lot of the season. Would we need him with Young and Maloney?

If Sneijder had his choice of club- Spurs- London, Dutch Manager, Edgar Davids, or Villa- Brum and great possibility, my guess is he'll choose Spurs. London clubs with money will always have a slight edge over us in the market, just based on geography. Don't usually like buying players off the likes of Man U as on the maority of occasions they are just playing out the remainder of the careers (ie: Butt for exmple) , not many McGraths have happened..

They agreed a fee of £10m in January but Bale wanted to stay at Saints - I wouldn't imagine that they would now bid less! Southampton initially denied it but have now confirmed it is true. Did we want Bale - probably not.

Mistake football wise or money wise? I think he'll take the money and not particular care whether he plays or not - bit like Scott Parker / SWP who joined and were wasted. Sidwell will be available again in a year or two when he finds his lack of opportunity frustrates him. And then Villa will be in Champions League and can tell him where to go!

Noticed that Reading have today offered a new contract to Ulises De La Cruz - he has looked good each time I have seen him this season. We would have done better keeping him than signing Aaron Hughes to replace him.

When the Browns bring in a player they want to sign they have been known to make a professional video of his personal highlights to music, of course. Then during his visit they take said player on a "tour" of the 'pitch'. That is when the lights come on. And up on the Big screen and they roll the Tape!

I am sure with bodymoor heath opening up Villa will be an attractive destination. I want a player like Patrice Evra, a RB that can run by people and make a good cross.

Laursen has had the best knee surgeon in the world and played several times in his comeback and looked fit and strong - why should he never be fully fit?
