I think it’s fine.

I don’t care if Palace score five - I just want us (Ollie) to score one…

That’s odds on and normally suggests it’s close to happening. Very surprised by that if true.
Surely not….

I’m very, very confident it’s all over tomorrow. But even if Spurs scrape a win (highly unlikely) I am absolutely certain we will get at least a draw at Palace.
-
We’ll draw with Palace

I said a draw was fine. I’ll take that all day.

A draw isn’t that great for us really. If spurs win it all goes to the final day
A draw would be absolutely fine.

Our GD is +8 right… so the only plausible scenario for Spurs to draw with City and end up above us on GD is something along the following lines….
Spurs
v City 2-2
v Sheff Utd 4-0
Villa
v Liverpool 0-3
v Palace 0-2
i just don’t see it…

They don’t they can draw if we lose both games our GD will be lower than theirs I assure you
I’m not so sure you can be so assured that their GD will be better than ours…

I was an ardent circular badge advocate and hated the Lerner lion….but, this is actually growing on me. It’s definitely got a 150 years old vibe, speaks to the clubs tradition, doesn’t look similar to another clubs badge and looks classy. I’ll settle for it.

If Kamara magically returned tomorrow you'd have Dougie run the show against Brighton. Absolutely certain of it.
It couldn't be more clear as day that the formation and personnel changing has had a big effect on him and the rest of the team in fact, building out from the back nowhere near what it was pre Kamara injury.
This I'd actually give Tim a go in the Kamara role against Brighton to allow Dougie the chance to redeem himself…

Dougie is absolutely central to our plans for next season

Massive save by Olsen ahead of the pen

Was there a VAR check on our goal ruled out?

Remembering how low I felt after Mings went off and we lost 5-1 after all the pre season excitement, I was still shell shocked from the news about Emi days earlier. So upsetting seeing Mings in agony from something so innocuouss, I didnt care about the result then, just concerned for him, and our season.
Looking to where we are now is nothing short of incredible, Mings has more than played his part in all of this, in my dreams he, and Emi, come on for the last few minutes vs Liverpool to celebrate a truly incredible season. I know it's not going to happen so soon, but when it does, I think we will raise the roof and then some. Ear plugs needed!
I was literally about to post in this thread that I had dreamt Mings came on for the last few minutes of Liverpool. Also know it’s not going to happen, but was a top dream. Perhaps him and Emi can at least applaud the fans with the rest of the team at the end of the game…

Emi deserves all the plaudits, but it’s Dougie’s pen that I keep watching…

It's really simple and I'm surprised some on here can't grasp this - There is no major downside for us at all. It makes perfect sense and is the right decision.
Agree with this. I’m going to thoroughly enjoy watching him play for Burnley and hope he tears it up…knowing that he can come back in to the fold if he makes the grade. This isn’t a Gary Cahill situation - don’t think the club would let that happen with Aaron.

Just watched the extended highlights from last night - some of those passes from deep are absolute class.

Agree that there needs to be a replacement if we let him go. Assuming there is it could be a very good bit of business

I really, really like it. It looks both classic and timeless. Majority of non-Villa supporter could easily assume it’s always been our badge. I reckon it’ll look great on the range of Adidas kit…
