  1. So the Villa finally have their man, I hope he does as well for you as he did for Norwich, a great signing and the future looks much better than when you were at Carrow Rd a few weeks back!

I'm disapointed he's gone, but that's football, it happens and you have to get up and get on with it!

All the best for the coming season, the City Vs Villa match at Carrow Rd should have quite a good atmosphere?

  2. What I like about Lambert is that his sphere of influence will be greater than just coaching the first team.

I'd be surprised if Lambert didn't bring Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa with him, I'm not sure what Karsa's role was at Carrow Rd, but Culverhouse carried out the coaching of the players and during matches if he suggested a susbtitution to Lambert then he'd go with it, he has a big influence. Lambert just gets on with managing!

  3. Before anyone goes off on one because I'm not a Villa fan, I just wanted to say Villa are getting a really top manager in Paul Lambert, I'm a life long Norwich fan and as shite as your seasons been, I've seen much more crap for much longer as a Norwich fan.

We're gutted to see him go, but there's a hell of a lot of potential at Villa, and rumour has it that NCFC's board were being a little stingy with the purse strings so who can blame him? the bottom line is we were in shit state when he took over and he did wonders for us, and if he can do the same at Villa then you'll be well chuffed with his appointment.

If there's any Johnny Big Boll**ks at the club now who aren't pulling their weight, the Lambert will get rid or change them. Give him time, he plays his cards close to his chest, but he IS a bloody good manager. All the best for next season, look forward to another good match at Carrow Rd, we enjoyed the Villa fans, great fancy dress and a cracking atmosphere. Adious Amigos
