  1. Apparently he is in the country awaiting a fee to be agreed. Hope for him and us its not a wasted journey.

    Where's that come from omariqy?

I suppose he's been spotted, by a reliable source, in a burger bar at the airport

Are you sure it wasn't in Tesco wearing a suit?

Excellent point, I'd forgotten about that LOL.

  3. I didn't see all of it, other things going on. From what I did see, Chicago Fire were more like a damp squib. Without wishing to seem condescending, we could have played the Ladies AV team and still got a result. As a practice match I suppose it was OK - let's hope there's a bit more craft and spirit in a competitve game.

    What's this about sunderland ? First I've heard ??

    Warnock's Missus on twitter

Shouldn't this be in the "guff from Twitter" thread? I thought this thread was about Collins?

  5. I reckon this story has been hyped up out of all proportion. He came over, we had a look at him, he's gone back. If the manager really wanted him, I'm sure a way would have been found by now to make it all happen. Still think we will start with Dunne & Collins at CB pairing when the season starts.

  6. It's an interesting move, I reckon it's a good sign for the future that he's aware of the importance of detail and of the fan base.

The cynics would say it's rather like re-arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic....

  7. Because there isn't the weight of expectation on "our lads" this time, I hope they will play with more freedom and creativity (unless Hodson stifles it at source) and they may well surprise a few people - including me. Still see France and Ukraine going through however. Franck Ribery could well emerge as man of the tournament, he's been awesome in their friendlies. I think people underestimate Ukraine on their own patch and supported by their skinhead army.

  8. This tweet tells it all.

“ @stephenfry: Farewell Paul. Sorry to see you go, but thank you for everything"

I wondered if he'd say anything, obviously a massive Norwich fan but also a board member.

But will he run off abroad and sulk like he did when the theatre critics panned one of his shows?

  9. Err, what? I'd just like to know what abuse he got at games in the beginning of his tenure. You seem to be dodging this question because there was none.

For the record I don't even drink.

Not dodging the question at all. Pointless pursuing it, as we clearly see things differently. That's what a discussion board is all about, non?

And I wouldn't wish to divert attention away from your main concerns - OGS and the welfare of Gazton.
