i sort of agree with the Pippsy and Baros thing perhaps not working, as neither is a "link" player in the way JPA is.

Phillips isn't a link player?

Le Tissier was saying on Saturday how good Phillips is at linking the play and he watched him an awful lot last season.

Blues have a net spend of £4.5 million. Boro have a net spend of £9.3 million. Spurs have a net spend of £0.5 million.

Buying Baros will put us ahead of two of them and just behind Boro.

Drogba is a key player, he's not really there to be prolific, more to create chances & space for Robben & Duff. He scores goal as well though.
