Well Berlin is very cheap and you should be able to get cheap flights. Before Xmas they have the xmas markets etc.

Cologne is also a really nice city and really beautiful before christmas with the markets etc. and more picturesque than Berlin with a beautiful old town. Depends on what you are looking for.

Now apple adverts have always been pretentious but the latest one...'If you dont have an iphone then....' is the worst. Just **** off with your up your own arse hyperbole, bland advert design and shortened sequences.

I dont want an iphone. Just piss off.

Bloody well said, couldn´t care less about iphones. And the adverts just give my a headache.

I have a friend who´s been to Toronto and liked it a lot. Never been to Canada myself, but would love to go oneday. Have a good trip!

Has anyone seen Following - Christopher Nolan's first film? Sounds kinda similar to that London crime genre. I've been meaning to see it.

I watched that last night funnily enough, very clever film but acted quite poorly.

Well worth the watch and only 70 minutes long if it ends up not being your cup of tea.

I think I´ve seen most of Nolan´s films but not this. Have to check it out... Thanks for reminding my of it!

Kanye West - Power

Definitely Berlin! Absolutely love the place. And I wouldn´t constrain myself just to the west-side of city. Personally I like the eastern part a lot more interesting. The area around Alexander platz, for example Hackescher Markt is full of nice restaurants and shops. For cheap beer and great döner kebab head to Kreuzberg or Neukölln. Berlin´s a wonderful city full of history and something for everyone.
