9th! I didn't realise there was a top half to this table. Happy days at last, but the best is we are above sunderland and blackpool. Stick those comments of holloway and bruce back down their throats.
I may even stay up to watch the last game on match of the day. We are always last!
Bring on next saturday!

Sorry got to mention this one.
Donkey Kong on Atari 2600
Use to spend ages playing it in Asda Aston (Now the Leisure centre) on an exhibition stand whilst my parents did the weekly shop.

Had a look at the ticket sales on the AV website last night. Looking like a semi decent crowd but still quite a few empty patches. 37000ish I reckon for the attendance.

Ah I'm glad someone has put this, happy days trying to answer the questions at the start to check if you were old enough to play. I had to ask my dad.
Other happy memories of my Atari ST:
Super Sprint
Defender of the Crown (the one with the love sceen)
and my first ST game:
Star Wars
but even older on my Atari 'Woody' were:
Combat
Star Master (great sound effects)
And the sad thing is I still have them all in the loft.

You keep saying this but why exactly would they be more up for it than say Everton were? They are up for this big time. Not an easy game by any means.Because of that 'sunny afternoon' 2 years ago when we took great delight in sending them down after the return of the messiah. We indeed 'meet again' under slightly different circumstances and their fans want revenge.
p.s. I hate Newcastle and despise Barton!

This game is the best opportunity of getting 3 points early in the run in and calming the team down for the remaining games and take off a bit of pressure. Away to West Ham after is going to be tricky as is home to Stoke and away to West Brom who are going to be well up for it. I'd possibly take 3 points in total against those 3? This would put us on 40 points with hopefully a 3 point banker against Wigan and then at 43 points the 2 remaining games are less important (he says in hope).
All I'll say is in my opinion this is the 2nd easiest game after wigan we've got and WE MUST MAKE IN COUNT - therefore lets go for the jugular and smash them to bits with all out attack. Not score 1 and sit back and wait for them to equalise in the 88th minute either. Also, with sky viewers watching we've got to put some pride back in after the FA cup shambles. Lets get VP rocking again!

Hi General,
My lad is having his 6th birthday party down at VP on saturday (please feel free to pop in and say hello)) as well as collecting his new away shirt. I find it slightly disappointing that we will have different shirts. Mine will have Genting (with hopefully a fully intact G) whereas he won't due to the premier league rules on gambling. (As if a 5yr old will be allowed to go into the casino?) Is this something the board considered before choosing a sponsor? Or is purely highest bidder (which of course is understandable).
p.s. My lad is currently attracting interest on the football circuit after just a couple of games, but I'd be happy for you to have first refusal and for him to sign a 25 year contract? He said he won't play for anyone else, including Barcelona. Now thats loyalty.
