I was able to get tickets but this will be my first away fixture so apologies for the terrible question. Will they send these via post or do they need to be picked up at the stadium?
Thanks!

Just talked to someone ITK and it doesn't look like the club can afford any valium. Sorry

Would anyone take any MLS players on a short term loan? I'd certainly take Tim Cahill/Robbie Keane/Landon Donovan - heck I'd take all 3 right now!
Can't see Donovan because his head is a mess. He's been playing in season and out on loan for the last couple of years and keeps talking like he wants to quit because he's exhausted. He'll come back and play for LA in March but I think he's been looking forward to some time off for a while now.

Back to transfer speculation.
...
1 Striker/Winger/Forward. Jozy Altidore? Aaron Hunt? (would love both of them)
I love the idea of Jozy Altidore as a player who can hold the ball up top and he has a great goal scoring record at AZ. He's also only 23. Haven't heard anything about it but would be great, American biases aside

Anyone watching the webchat, clearly Kendrick knows very little.
This. All guess work from Kendrick. Tell you what though, that Kenny Loggins chap knows what he's talking about. :!:
I hope that doesn't mean we're heading right into the danjaaaa zone.

I think Ireland would only leave if there was an offer from Major League Soccer.
No club here would pay his wages because only about 12 of us know who he his. Not exactly the marketing powerhouse MLS likes to sign.

Literally anyone can submit an article for Bleacher Report. Taking what they say as truth is pretty much the same as taking @ITK_LOL_ITK on Twitter as truth. Dan from AVFCCentral did some work checking on this and it looks like it was an assumption from Wikipedia. Lastly I think Dan Kennedy was pretty central in the MLS All Stars winning last night so loaning Brad out to a club who have no need for a keeper would be ridiculous.
This is nonsense and just some clown assuming a story is right based on Wiki research.

I should probably get blitzed for suggesting this since I'm an American, but what about Carlos Bocanegra on a free?
That bastard can go **** himself for the tackle on Delaney - if he appears at Villa Park any time soon I will set him alight.
I think that about covers it.
...and there we have it :/
Nowt personal or against your fine nation OTD, just a simmering eight year grudge against a vile act that ultimately forced one of our own into retirement.
Are we currently being linked with any left backs to speak of?
It was fair and not taken personally. Honestly I had completely forgotten about that. 8 years is an eternity.

I should probably get blitzed for suggesting this since I'm an American, but what about Carlos Bocanegra on a free? His impact on the wage bill would be negligible and at 33 he'd be a great bridge to give Baker/Clark more time to transition into a starting role. He certainly has more pace than Dunne, he still gets forward and can score goals, and sometimes plays RB for the national team. Here's the BBC story noting that he's been given permission to leave Rangers:

Since we're just throwing names out there I figured I'd throw in a slightly reasonable one.

No Alan Hutton in the US Tour squad. Interesting.
probably cant get past customs
or stuck, wedged in the X-Ray machine
It's a little known fact that all US citizens get one free Customs block to keep whomever they like out of the country. I wish I didn't have to use mine now but it seemed like the best option for all of us.
:winkold:

Any speculation on those who are (hopefully) on their way out? I am excited to see the club in Chicago but will be heartbroken if Warnock and Hutton clear customs!
-
onetake are you in 134?
I am - I have a couple of extra tickets but am planning to fill those out before I get there. Any progress on matchday drinking locations for supporters? I'll have my car and as much as I loathe holding back to drive around, I'll make that sacrifice if everyone is getting together offsite beforehand. Or does it look like most people will be tailgating at Toyota Park?
Excited to get together with some US Villans! I've only seen the club play in Birmingham so it'll be a lot of fun to get together with some slightly more local people.

I'll be coming up from Cincinnati for this. Pretty pumped too - it'll be my first time to Toyota Park and my first time to see a game in Chicago since the 2005 US/England match.
