  1. Possibly, could've easily won tonight though then next game is Norwich at home. Liverpool at home following that and they ain't much kop either (pun intended).

Chance to at least be in with a sniff.

It was a really silly thing to do, but I won't hold anything against him for getting relegated. That will be from the likes of losing to Sunderland, Swansea ect when we drew with Leicester 1-1 we gave away a penalty, again that's another individual error that could have cost us 2points, if we beat all the beatable teams then we wouldn't be in this situation anyways. Can see Liverpool beating us. I think we were down a long time before today

  2.                Austin.     Afobe

    Khazri.     Amartey    Saivet.    Townsend

    Cissokho    Kone.      Okore        Byram

                          Valdes

What could have been. Not saying all these players are better then what we currently have or worth what was paid for them or that they would have joined us but the fact that we haven't improved a single position when we could have had basically a whole new team is depressing.

Austin and Byram wouldn't come here, how would we afford valdes wages? And when we get relegated with a keeper on ridiculous wages is stupid. 12 million for Townsend again who will be on high wages no thanks.

  3. There is no way we are staying up, we have to win loads of games and hope the teams above is drop loads of points, but all the teams above us are winning points aswell, Swansea currently beating Everton, it's way too late now for us to survive. We needed to beat west brom yesterday, draws ain't going to help us

  4. Austin was never going to come to villa why would he [emoji23]

in the summer he was a possibility though

Still a slim chance tbh we wouldn't have been able to afford the fee then hence why we went for 6mil gestede, and his wages probably would have been too high for us. I think we have lost the potential to be able to sign players like that anymore, our best bet for next season would be someone like Rhodes, but once again I doubt we would spend the cash for him

  5. Failure to sign Austin in the summer has relegated us, with him, we wouldn't be this far adrift. Great going transfer committee.

sign Austin and we are mid-table its as simple as that. even Adebayor and we out of trouble. we lost so many games by the odd goal that it was crazy not buy a striker

Austin was never going to come to villa why would he [emoji23]

  6. I doubt Leicester fans care that you can't stand their club, truth is they will laugh at us, we are an embarrassment of a club compares to Leicester. Who cares about stats, stats don't win you games. They don't need possession because they counter attack and hurt teams on the break, they don't play possession football. Albrighton has been been brilliant for Leicester hence why he starts for them. We did let him go on a free because we was silly to let his contact run down to the point he could leave on a free, that's mismanagement. They might finish 7th or who knows they might carry on proving everyone wrong and finish higher

You can't make a player sign a contact if they don't want to. We could have given him a new contract at 45k a week but that would have been bad management.

He has been neither "brilliant" nor "awesome".  He is a hard working but limited footballer

Thier success is based on luck combined with two decent players hitting form at the same time..it won't last

We are awful at the moment but I'll never be embarrassed to be a Villa fan. Leicester are having their 15 mins. It won't last

You can't lose 2 games all season and call that luck [emoji23] [emoji23][emoji85]

  7. Can't stand Leicester and hope they implode.  Leicester have been very lucky. They are bottom 3 for possession, passes, pass completion and a whole lot more.  Marez and Vardy are good players, but the rest are bang-average but playing with a bit of confidence. As they regress to the mean, they'll finish about 7th and will be bottom half next time

Schmichael is very average. Albrighton is average and has not been "Awesome"

We didn't let "Albrighton go on a free". He turned down contract offers and went for £45k a week to Leicester - twice what we offered. If we'd have paid Albrighton that we would have had trouble throughout the squad

    This seasons Southampton

  8. If Leicester are a poor side what are we?? [emoji32] There's not a player at our club who would get near the Leicester 'long ball' team.

They are a very average team, playing at the top of their ability, through good organization and a speedy forward who runs on to over the top balls which averts any danger.

    Ha! [emoji2]

You still haven't answered what you think our team is?

How he can criticise Leicester for being average when they are joint top, and we are rock bottom

Of the table [emoji23] Leicester fans would laugh at you if you called them average with the likelihood of us being on the championship next season

  9. They have beaten some of the best teams in the league aswell, they are far from an average team, everyone thought they would fade away, but coming to the end of January and they are still up there, I really admire them for the way they fought out of relegation last year and to where they are today, fair play Leicester and it's been deserved with the football played this year.

Take out Vardy, Marhrez and maybe Scmichael the rest are average players.  Sure Albrighton couldnt get on half the time he was at Villa.

Albrighton has be awesome for Leicester, letting him go on a free was typical mismanagement from the club. Robert Huth is a rock in defence and a leader, they have 11 players who will fight and give everything every single game, it's not always about having the best players, it's having a team who believe and work hard for each other aswell.

  10. A very average team that are currently sat joint at the top of the table, I would love villa to be an "average" team

Me too. I don't know why some fans are so hard on Leicester, perhaps it's down to jealousy, but make no mistake they've played some great attacking football over the last 12 or so months and are a credit to their club. We on the other hand have been a disgrace.

  12. I'm actually looking forward to being in the championship. It hasn't been fun for the past 4-5 years now, if we stayed up we would just be in the same situation next season getting beat every week and fighting to stay up, it really takes the fun out of football. If dropping down a league to actually be able to win some games and maybe even win the league or make the play offs to helps me fall in love with football again then so be it. I feel it's the only way for me to enjoy football again because this season has been the worst ever. Never know the team might get that winning mentality sherwood craved in the championship.
