Pretty’s sure this is closed now. Could be wrong but seem to remember last season it wasn’t there.

3 guinees, still there, had a refurb. No football shirts allowed now.

  2. YOu won't get served there anymore if mob handed. There really aren't many options nearer the ground. Trooper pots is big enough, world turned upside down can get sketchy.

I'm hopefully meeting up with some berks and bucks lions at the Swan at three mile cross which is about just over a mile from the ground. That;s a good spot for anyone driving.

Apologies for any grammatical or spelling wassits, double vision caused by a an infection of my single malt receptors.

No, it's NOT too soon to see what everyone else on here can see.....and he gets paid very well for it! Basic schoolboy errors.  An experienced manager can change tactics during a game. I, and numerous others on here slated Bruce for not being able to do that (quite rightly) so it's the same for Smith.

Mate, you're not including the human element here. We can all watch the TV and after a mistake come up with the solution.....after I pissed myself when drunk, it wasn't till after the event that I thought of what I should've done.

Smith is no doubt very aware of his teams current capabilities. I put a lot of tomnights gaff down to fitness, a fitter team could've started the second half with the same high press and not risked leaving cracking great holes.

This current trend in being so quick to slate doesnt come across as passionate footy fans, it comes across as  toy throwing due to a lack of instant gratification and somehwat naive. Cool your boots man!

  4. Tuanzebe, MOTM again for me.

Though we looked a bit ropey, I enjoyed the first half for the fact that we kept sticking to the plan and not bottling after a couple of mistakes.

The pressing was good which made Norwich look worse than they actually are. 2nd Half, it's clear that Smith was aware of the poor fitness levels and told them to not press so much or risk leaving too many spaces to play into....it just seems they backed off too much.

El Ghazi is poor on the left for sure and I exoected Hogan to prove a point tonight but alas....

Anyway, the over reaction is driving me insane.

  5. Yea, well - Apart from The under-23s won 8-0 just 24 hours ago.  The junior team clinched four out of five Southern Championships between 2007 and 2012, before the format changed to the Professional Development League. The side also won the NextGen Series in 2013, a Europe-wide tournament for elite academies.  First-team players Gabriel AgbonlahorGary GardnerAndre Green and Jack Grealish all came through the youth system at the club, as well as former players Ciaran ClarkGary CahillGareth BarryThomas HitzlspergerDarius VassellCraig GardnerMarc AlbrightonAndreas Weimann and Steven Davis amongst many others. The Villa academy also developed England and Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and Willem II midfielder Daniel Crowley.

and the aquaduct.....WHAThas Kevin Macdonald ever done for us?

Sorry no but, I'm just piecing things together and my senses are up. He's not contracted at the moment due to refusing to re sign in China, portuguese, fits into the owners apparent desire for youth and longevity. Has shown capabilities and Nixon reporting that the person he's been told hasn't been widely touted in the press or bookies.

I was thinking that. He came and signed photos after the last home game and looked like a strip of piss to be honest.

No way is he 6.4, he stood next to Hutton while he signed my kids autograph books and he was the same height as him pretty much. 6-1, maybe 6-2 at best and yea, no meat on him at all.

  8. His pressing broke down a lot of their attacks, first on either flank to prevent the crosses coming in and got Taylor out of trouble a couple of times. Such a thankless task his role.

  9. With regard to him getting a season in the prem, am I right in thinking that when he has taken teams up, he's never been given athe sort of funds to strnegthen, that was certainly the case with Hull, does anyone have any further info on the other times he's taken a team up?

  10. I've just watched the video someone posted of our atrocious game against Southampton....I think it was the game that sealed relegation. Watching that few minutes has shown me how so much has improved at the club (IMO) the problem with incremental change is that you don't notice it and while we were waiting to wake up one morning to see wholesale changes, some good work has gone on, we have a seemingly great and cohesive bunch of players who are performing for themselves, the club and us, rewind 3 years and we had a team who in the main, held the fans with mothing more than utter contempt.

Watchign that vid has really woken me up and I do think Bruce deserves some credit for this.

There is a player there but he'll probably amount to nothing. I'd love to know what exactly happened at mk dons for them to send him back, was it cumulative things or one off incident.

It's easy to find out, the manager made comment about his expectations of Tish being higher and the message on the fan forums about him is consistent....absolutely annonymous apart from one or two snapshots of class.....but not enough

Reading fans are a bunch of words removed, not only did they use the McGrath chant, what was that screeching/wierd noise they kept doing all the time!?!?

To half of them, it's how they attract a mate, the other half, it's used when Waitrose have run out of quinoa

  13. I know you villans from the motherland hate it when the blues beat us but F**K me, going to work for me tomorrow will be unbearable...

Shit night, not one positive, we've already sapped any playing skill out of Onomah., bringing on Hutton, keeping Bjarnson on.....shit night.

Why can we not move off of the ball? why are all of our angles so easy to read? WTF are they being coached??

My ten year old suffered coming to see 9 losses in a row and 14 games before he saw us win, I'm so proud he's a proper fan, but tonight, he's speechless. He really wanted to give it to Reading too as he was on their books before he decided to leave due to the coaches being bell houses...anyway.

Not been on for yonks but I had to expell some of this before I try and unwind.
