Voinjama
That definitely applies to Swansea after watching them lose at WHL, all pretty passing and then in the final third no penetration, and therefore no goals.

Nail on head. Get the ball in the box and you'll get chances to score. Simple as that. All this pissing about outside the box, ooh we'll pass the ball right the way across the pitch and then back again, we'll rack up as many passes as we possibly can, our possession stats are going to look fantastic. KennyPowers
I hope you're on a wind up. Using Barcelona as the example rather than the exception is just mind-boggling.

Voinjama
It's good to have possession because stating the obvious, if you have the ball, they don't, but that possession has to be used in the right way, to put the ball in the back of the other teams net. Too many teams in the last year have been passing along their defence and midfield for the sake of it and getting no where. *Wigan Athletic*
Alakagom
Totenhan were dire. However with soo many signings going straight to their first eleven, it will take them few matches too really start glueing together as a team.Thought Ramsey was very good, good allround passion shown by Arsenal today. Deserved win.

Too many teams in the last year have been passing along their defence and midfield for the sake of it and getting no where. *Wigan Athletic* It's been surprisingly effective (to me anyway) how successful the approach of suffocating the other team by keeping the ball for long stretches has been. The problems I have with it are: 1. It's dull to watch. And it really is. Most of Barcelona's games are unwatchable now. It's like watching a bull-fight. 2. If you copy the approach and do it but just with less talented players you have no chance against the teams doing it anyway. I'm going to miss Alex Ferguson. He consistently played high-tempo football with two wingers. They were always good to watch.
Mantis
It makes me appreciate how we play under Lambert. We try to play football but at the same time it's attacking stuff.
