villa4europe
They've made a formal complaint against the sun, the journo who reported the attack on Woodward house To be fair they have a point, the journo caught a rumour it would happen and decided to go along and photograph it and interview them rather than tell the police Buuuuut do you think that's got Woodward any sympathy? Not a chance! The conspiracy theories about it all being engineered by Woodward himself are picking up pace

leighavfc
Didn't one of the Sun journo's recently join United as some kind of PR guy or something? Update: Was Neil Ashton. Edited February 9, 2020 by leighavfc

Yes, and I'm sure that development is completely unrelated to the Scum running stories trying to sell other team's players to United for way below their market value.

villa4europe
To be fair it's right to ask the question There's obviously a lot of ignorance on show and I was surprised that none of them (only read a couple of pages) seem to know the relevance of themselves (and Liverpool) in the draining of the local support from the city and the city's demographic (which is a walking on eggshell topic) which means the population is meaningless Basically there's no one suggesting that the 2nd / 3rd generation immigrant families have no real ties to the city's teams and as a result we lose a disproportionate number of the locals to the red shirt wearing teams up the M6 and/or to other sports meaning that we've had stunted growth
LondonLax
It would be hilarious if they are thrown a Champions League lifeline with 5th place opening up via City’s exclusion, only to miss out to Sheffield United

Tomaszk
They are honestly so shit. Watching them pass it out from the back is horrific. We're better and that's saying something. Their players mostly all have ability but there's no plan. They've clearly been told "pass out from the back", but haven't worked on any sort of patterns or runs to make. It's totally up to individuals making decisions. Grealish will completely transform them if he ends up there. He'll give the whole side ten times the confidence with his willingness to get on the ball.

Bruno Fernandes has a lot of quality though, just surrounded by dross. Brandon Williams is the next Eric Lichaj, Shaw is still overweight, brainless and somehow playing as an attacking centre half. Matic is finished too. They really are a long long way away from the top teams. Still though I take some pleasure in Lampard failing too though with far superior players available to him. sne
So has Mahammed Bin Salman already bought the club and bought the refs and the FA while he was at it?
