from the 1st 2 points are that Giggs is a very very deluded man and the 2nd one is playing a load of kids in FA Cup or Carling Cup games does not make you some sort of youth guru

I have been very impressed with Giggs in the Euros. He strikes me as a very intelligent man to be fair, when it comes to football anyway.
Very insightful imo.

people said same about Gary Neville before he went into management ;)

On Rooney. When he said:

'Wayne Rooney doesn't score the goals he used to, but is he a number 6 or an 8? No, i will not be playing him in that role. People tell me he has an amazing pass, 40/50 yards. I can pass 40 yards when there is no pressure'.

That bolded bit really comes across as a bit of a dig imo, coupled with:

'I'm not interested in multifunctional players that can play lots of positions, i want specialists'.

It seems quite calculated, as did the line about all the youth players he has nurtured.  With Zlatan on the way and Rashford breaking through i think the best Rooney can hope for is a rotational role with Zlatan. Will he be happy with that? (He has already stated his desire for a midfield role) A will he keep the captaincy if he isn't a guaranteed starter?

Its funny how different people see things. Intelligent, yes, but he comes across as someone that went to the same charisma finishing school as Michael Owen and Alan Shearer.

He does make some good points, but bloody hell, he's as bland as cracker with gravel and sand on it. If he is ever going to make it as a manager he needs to buy a personality!

Prediction: Phil Jones plays regularly at CB and turns out to be OK.

I took the Mourinho comment of not wanting jacks of all trades as Phil Jones your time is up son.

He'll probably end up at somewhere like Everton.

Wasn't that long ago he was as highly rated as Stones is now...

Blind and Rojo to go too?

Blind is alright but again is he a left back, CB, central midfielder etc. Even though he lacks pace and got found out in a few games (no more than Smalling) I thought he had a pretty good season.

Think his problem is he's seen as a LVG man which Mourinho will probably take offence at.

Rojo is just total garbage, no chance he'll survive imo especially with Luke Shaw back as first choice LB.
