United did and there won't be demands to challenge for the league as he had there. Spurs fans would be delighted winning the league cup (next season) which is within his capabilities. They've been pretty poor at the back so far this season so he'll go back to the two Belgians and sit the defence a bit deeper. Probably have stuff like Sissoko in the front 3 for tough away games but think likes of Ndombele and Son will remain effective in his style of play and of course he's got one of the best finishers around in those tight games. He's actually got a bit of a free hit this season aswell so really he needs to keep his mouth shut and just concentrate on winning games and Spurs fan will take to him. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They pretty much started the whole buying success model in the early Abramovich years. Let's see what unfolds but without being able to outbid everyone for the best players I will be suprised if he does anything there.
