Stevo985 Posted October 3, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted October 3, 2012 Signs that say something like "Car Boot Sale Today ------->" Today?! How do we know how long that sign has been there?
Jon
Signs that say something like "Car Boot Sale Today ------->" Today?! How do we know how long that sign has been there? Agreed. Although what riles me about Car Boot Sale notices (round here anyway) is the strange current practice of dropping the 'Sale'. So round here, you just get, "Car Boot this Sunday". WTF does that mean? Is the practice of dropping the boot just a local practice round my area?
Stevo985 Posted October 3, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted October 3, 2012 haha "this Sunday", that's possibly even more annoying than "today". How hard is it to put "sunday 4th" or "sunday Mar 10th"
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
in the future, we'll all be living in our cars, out in open fields selling what remains of our dvd collection to the rich urbanites in order to feed ourselves on kfc bargain buckets. i dislike car boot sales for that reason. they are prophetic. Genie
haha "this Sunday", that's possibly even more annoying than "today". How hard is it to put "sunday 4th" or "sunday Mar 10th" It means you need to buy and fit a new sign every week.
Shillzz
There really isnt anything in the world more depressing than a car boot sale. Some people have a serious imbalance with what they consider to be more important out of time and money.
