Just bet a few small stakes, £20k on black

my mate won just over a million quid on one spin of the roulette wheel and 3 million on the night (out to celebrate the birth of my youngest at Star City) wiped 12% off the share price of Stanley Leisure. He gave them all of it back over the next few weeks, and a bit more, not that he cared much

So it seems I was drunk last night. :)

Still have no idea what I was actually trying to write

Its Demglish for “that for some reason after session at the pub, I went back to my mates and drank a lot of cocktails and for some reason it had no effect on me”.
I find it frankly astonishing that you could be so fluent and accurate in Demglish after such a session. You were demonstrably, for all to see, unaffected by the alcohol.

Just noticed in my change from the hairdresser yesterday I got an old pound coin.

"Change"? Did you get your hair cut in 2019?

👍 sounds like a true story then for sure.

One of my closest pals. Done loads of business together over the years, numerous  Vegas trips which I could tell you some very very funny stories about. He’s a top man. Professional poker player now

Ha, cool. I've been over there quite a few times myself, nothing would surprise me. I don't know him personally but we've played poker a few times in the past.

Seems all my likes have gone again.

Just a normal bloke who’s made well for him self. The Mirage used to pay for our flights first class and stick us up in the villas in the gardens free of charge with no charges for any food or drink all week or 10 days as we used to go

we used to spend most of our evenings in the crazy horse 2 🤣

Cash only tax dodgers I assume.

Its one of the only places that has 3 or 4 hairdressers on so waiting time is minimal.

Place we went to for a weekend away a while back allowed us to pay the room cost on card, but the bar was cash only. Can’t believe it’s legal.

Noice

Bonkers amount of money. He did say though if he had not given up roulette (which he did about 10years ago) He would’ve ended up skint in 5 to 10 years

Won £3m from a casino and then lost it all and more? 😮
