Are you sure that's not one of those daily mail "politically correct do gooders have banned Christmas" type headlines? I can't see how that 'rule' could be policed or enforced at the school. Yeah most likely.. I imagine some head teacher got the crazy idea, tried to implement it but probably got knocked back because it's just ridiculous.
