They're quality. For those who haven't: http://shocko.info/words/2015/7/16/striker-by-steve-bruce-the-full-review Quote --------------------- STRIKER! by Steve Bruce - Review for The Sliced Pan July 16, 2015 Bright red blood on the knife blade. The knife in my hand. Duffy’s dead body stretched out on the locker room floor… And with such drama, begins STRIKER! the first novel by footballer, manager and actual published novelist, Steve Bruce. Written in the first person, Striker puts the reader in the shoes of Steve Barnes, manager of Leddersford Town, a small but historic club hoping to rise to the premiership from English football’s second tier. But there’s trouble afoot! Barnes finds young Irish striker Pat Duffy stabbed to death in the changing room and, becoming suspected of the murder, spends the rest of the book struggling to clear his name. He decides to do so by solving the case on his own, despite (a) the police already being involved, (b) he being a suspect himself and (c) his having neither the expertise, training, nor free time available to investigate a murder..... https://thesetpieces.com/features/defender-steve-bruce-review/ Quote hanks to Mark Shanley for the brilliant Steve Bruce illustration. “As I drove home across the Pennines, I felt I had done as much as I could possibly do by preparation, allowing for the fact that I had too little time. As the man famously said: So much to do, so little time. And he said that on his death bed” – Steve Barnes, DEFENDER!.... True, but bunn is shit, just hope the new number one doesn’t get injured if he’s going to be sat on the bench
VILLAMARV
Nyland with Moreira as sub and Bunn as back up. Sarkic out on loan makes sense if people will play him.
gilbertoAVFC
Three keepers probably about right now. Don't see us letting Bunn go. Edited August 10, 2018 by gilbertoAVFC

Agree here Marv. Sarkic to youth or loaned out. Steer being loaned out makes sense. Why Bunn is still here I will never know?
Bomvilla7
I didn't realise he was only 25 to be honest. Good luck to him, unlikely to make it here and but had a decent showing against hull and has been a good pro. Hopefully gets a good run of games and benefits from it

John
I previously said that I felt we needed another keeper and we have now brought in two. Jed has been unlucky with injuries and needs games. I feel this represents a good move for the player. I wish Jed well with The Valiants and for the future.

rodders0223
Some fan marks on Jed Steer. Confirms what we saw in preseason for me, capable of good saves (unbelieveable saves imo) but he kicks like an absolute mule. Not the answer probably but I don't think he is worse than Nyland, despite somehow being an international keeper. https://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/83591/players-marks-charlton-athletic-v-oxford-united-thread-closes-3pm-wednesday/p2

rodders0223
6 months left on his deal, has done relatively well by the sounds of it. I would recall him and keep him as an option whilst trying to get a small fee for him.
