dakid007
4-3-3 doesnt work playing 2 strikers as wingers. If we continue to play 4-3-3 we have to play Sylla right mid & delph left mid to cover full backs. Gabby & Tonev to stay up pitch and create width. We should be asking the front 3 to not be doing to much defensive work. Stay up top and wide to give the defending team something to worry about.

Very good point dakid007, will be mentioned in my next article If we are to play 4-3-3 we need someone el la Sylla to sit in the middle of the park and protect the back-four, KEA is still weak IMO, has the one/two good games then just fades away like he did last season. VillaChris
I'd take Weimann out and bring Sylla in and see how it goes for the next three games. Won't solve the creativity issue but will surely tighten us up and I'd ask Delph to push on more and support the front two who'll still cause defences plenty of problems. AndyBM
im liking the look of luna, hes still going to make minor errors till he finds his feet, but i hope he sorts it out quick time, he has the potential to become a villa great
Isa
There was nothing 'minor' about his errors on Saturday.
Rob182
Which errors did he make? A foul throw and a poor cross when he probably should have shot? What else?
AndyM3000
He did not have a good game at all. Im not going to go over the errors, if you watched the game you would see there were a lot of them.
Electric Avenue
Should be dropped IMHO.
KjParton
Ah yes - dropped. I know who should replace him - I heard that Joe Bennett kid is awesome.

This. Would still start him in the Norwich game though as that was his first bad performance.
VillaChris
Yep smart idea bringing in Bennett who had two awful games last season against Norwich who would target him again. Dropping Luna for one poor game is idiotic when the alternative is a poorer player.
Isa
A repeat display against Norwich by Luna though and I think Bennett should be recalled. Bar the Norwich game, I actually didn't think he was that bad in the run-in last season.
KjParton
he wasn't "that" bad. But i still think people forget how often he either lost his man, or was beaten (too easily) on the wing by a player.
heid3ster
He had a bad game vs. Newcastle (as did everyone else) but he's looked pretty good in the other three games. I'd stick with him.
Ponky
I don't think he made too many errors to be honest. He was simply well beaten by a superior opponent.
villan_007
Should be dropped IMHO. The epitome of modern day football fans. He's had a bad 90 mins where he was run ragged by a very inform Ben Arfa. This doesn't mean we should, drop him / sell him / burn him or abuse him. Get real. LondonLax
Bennett looked good in the cup game (against a lower league side admittedly). What is the point of having competition for places if the player knows they can get away with bad performances?
AValon
You can't slaughter or drop a player off the back of one iffy performance, particularly when he won't be the only defender to have problems with Ben Arfa this season. He will be done, he will make mistakes, but he'll prove a decent buy in the end.
SikhInTrinity
Ben Arfa can do that to any full back in the world, to be fair the full-backs were hardly supported defensively by Gabby or Weimann.
Rob182
I don't think he made too many errors to be honest. He was simply well beaten by a superior opponent. Exactly my thoughts. He made 2 glaring mistakes, from what I could see (from the Upper Holte). One was the decision to cross instead of shoot, which on another day, if it'd resulted in a goal, we'd be praising him for. He shouldn't be dropped, lets see how he plays against Norwich before we bring back Calamity Joe.
