villan-scott Posted May 8, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted May 8, 2021 To be fair since they brought in Graeme Jones as coach a few months back they’ve been much better. Can’t see them struggling too much next season. Unfortunately.

Wainy316
They looked a shoe in for relegation around the time they drew 1-1 with us. How the hell did they end up 12th?

He signed a 6 year extension though in October last year? He's there until 2026.
Mark Albrighton Posted May 24, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted May 24, 2021 Shades of the Houllier season when Villa were bouncing around 14th/15th for 75% of the season and somehow end up finishing 9th. I’m a believer of the old adage the table never lies. But Villa being the 9th best side that season and Newcastle being the 12th best this season, the table can bend the truth from time to time.

Tbf though we did look pretty decent in quite a lot of games that season. We had an absolutely torrid time with injuries.
villa4europe
not sure how big the news is but surprised no one has said anything the arbitration case has been adjourned until next year on the grounds of something like failure to disclose evidence from both parties arbitration being a process with no legal obligation for transparency the geordies are of course frothing and blaming the PL rather than their dodgy as **** potential new overlords and current owner

HanoiVillan
Newcastle fans seem to have a somewhat eccentric belief system that they have created for themselves around this takeover bid.

It's hilarious that Newcastle fans prefer that idiot, financially backed by actual murderers to Mike Ashley.
